Hi! I’m trying to find a fic where Peeta is older than Katniss and she’s a mail order bride to the capitol where she works in the bakery with him. At the end Peeta breaks the contract and Katniss has him follow her back to D12. I’m not having any luck finding it so any help would be appreciated!!!

Lol, no it’s actually a combination of a few things. I have the attitude of “write now, edit later” which I feel like makes it go faster as long as I’ve done the outlining and planning up front. Um, this is gonna sound kinda conceited but I type at a ludicrous speed. A 3000-4000 word piece is the work of about an hour of uninterrupted writing for me. If I’m on my game, that can sometimes include a quick edit run through or two. Also, I try to write something every day and squeeze in both large blocks of time and short spurts of writing.

Smart phones are my best friend and if I’ve got a free hand and am not talking to or listening to someone else, I’m writing in some form or fashion. Stirring the rice as it cooks? Also writing. Inning change at kids’ baseball game. Also writing. Waiting in the carpool lane or for a meeting to start? Also writing. Lunch break by myself? Soooo writing. Folding laundry or other boring adult chores? Technically not writing but my brain is definitely plotting.

Mainly though, it’s because for a story like this, I usually spend weeks planning and outlining and even writing quite a bit before I start posting. Outlines are usually stupidly detailed. That way when I sit down to write, it goes really quick.

The downside to this obsessive method is that when I hit a slump, it’s a freaking word count wasteland.

F4LLS was a multi-fandom charity event run for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.

We don’t currently have masterlists for the Hunger Games F4LLS stories, but we do have a list of those stories for 2013, 2014 and 2015 and can see if it is possible to create masterlists for them.  Unfortunately, on first glance, more than a few of them have been deleted…. but leave it with us. ;)

I’m glad you liked it! I’d like to write more for it eventually. Now for the bad news. Sometimes the muse is a pain in the butt. I wrote it to get the ideas out of my head so I could focus on the other stuff I need to write. Good news. It sort of worked...

Is there a fic that has a scene where K&P go to a club but Katniss can’t get in because she’s young and Peeta didn’t know?? And he gets angry and she tells him he never asked how old she was and he had just assumed she was his age??

I'm trying to find a fic where Peeta and Katniss meet at a wedding - I think. I think it was a Gadge wedding. I remember Katniss had brought Finnick so she wouldn't be alone and Peeta had brought Annie, and then when Finn and Annie hit it off Peeta and Katniss gave up the rouse and let each other know they were into each other? Sorry, it's all hazy.

I have a feeling you’re thinking about Best Man, by c_r_roberts. Though K&P don’t meet for the first time at that wedding, the rest of the scenario is the same.
