D20 Fanfic Event (MITMIG) Interest Check!
Hello! This is an interest check for a potential 18+ May 2026 Dimension 20 fanfiction writing event called MAKE IT TROPEY, MAKE IT GOOD (or MITMIG for short). The event aims to be a month-long writing event where all participants work on a single piece of long-form writing, to be released at the end of the event together! There are two themes for this event:
MAKE IT TROPEY! Participants will each be assigned a common fanfiction trope to work with (e.g. only one bed, enemies to lovers, fake dating, etc.) and have to write a longfic based on it (minimum 20k, no word ceiling).
MAKE IT GOOD! Participants will be expected to focus on polishing their work as much as possible (with the opportunity to engage in good faith peer-to-peer critique within the event Discord server). Critique will only be open to other participants, and not to spectators.
