Almost forgot I had this art done by @yubriamakesart a little while ago. So have some Sobek fawning over Serzette and also a cold lizard in a snow storm.
So what is the story behind the guy who was eating Imp ears? And also that stoner Bard who knew about the treasure Trees?
“Cameos” from previous games. In reality the Imp ear guy is more inspired by the character of a player we... don’t play with anymore. He kind of had a habit of murder hoboing is way across the game. Emphasis on “hobo”. He kept a bag filled with ears of his victims. And for some reason didn’t believe us when we told him this was not a normal or sane thing to do...
However, Mr. Imp Ears is a different guy. He’s teaching Aluvire sign language and she’s paying him in delicious snacks. I just wanted to give my players a weird sense of deja vu, since Silvervale was the area that game was played in.
The bard, Garyson, however is lifted directly from a previous game. He is literally a vehicle for exposition. Went on to create a bard’s college in a wizard’s tower called “Garyson’s Garrison” If you want to hear more about that adventure I’d go ask @dasvanthenecromancer and @yubriamakesart. Heck, ask @theriu as she was in that game too, though she doesn’t play dnd anymore.
The episode in which it is very fortunate in many ways to have a cleric in the party.

Wings: It's so tempting! Okay, there's like... SOBEK is basically a cactus wrapped in bubble wrap. And Oblitus is sitting over there like, "Oh, I'm drow Spiderman!" And Kesk is all like, "I have enough heals to power a dying rhino." And Desite is a FREAKING TANK. I know what it's like to try and kill her, I've failed in the past. I am a hungry wolf, and you are just a baby wrapped in bacon. With all of those other things going on around you and I'm just like, "Nope, I will take the baby bacon!"
