"The dum8 one about the asteroid drillers" is, by consensus, the least awful of John's movies, which means Dave actually stops signalling distress (help help my brains dribbling out of my collapsing earholes sos save our strider) for whole minutes at a time.

Vriska, seated on the floor between John's right leg and Dave's left, jostles John's ankle and says, "Wow, can you check Dave's vitals for me, I think sitting through that lame ass death scene for the fortieth time finally killed him."

She pretends not to hear that voiceless, barely-there laugh, ignores the way Dave flicks her horn, and doesn't comment on the warmth she can feel in the back of his mind, the way he keeps his hands busy in her hair because, right now, he doesn't need to say anything.

HMM I would use basically any lyric from any song from your FST and I still love “The Kill in Me” but that one’s hard to boil down to a tag, so I’m going to hardmode this and try to find a lyric NOT already associated with them.
