So, while visiting Jubilee and the X-Men in New York, High Roller accidentally got caught between New York's Finest (superhero hero team) and one of their villains, The Living Laser.
Quips were said, punches were thrown, lessons weren't learned, and long story short, Living Laser blew High Roller up. HR survived, but his suit certainly did not.
Wanting payback against the glorified glow stick, High Roller officialy offered his services, but didn't have a spare suit on hand (rookie move) luckily Daredevil still had some gear from his first team.
