Pidge looks up from her work desk, staring straight at Lance standing in her doorway.
"I'm sorry," Pidge takes her goggles off, "What?"
"I'm pretty sure you heard me," says Lance.
"No, yeah, I heard you," says Pidge, "just a bit flabbergasted at who you think you're talking to?"
"Oh, busting out the ten dollar words," says Lance. "Bet that impresses a lot of people." Lance walks into pidges room, closing the door behind him. "Whatcha working on?"
"None of your-" Pidge looks down at her desk but everything on it is blurry. She squints her eyes but struggles to focus.
"What's wrong?" asks Lance, now standing over Pidge from across the desk. "Tired? Must be exhausting, living a lie." Pidge jumps out of her seat, yet doesn't get that much taller as she glares up at Lance.
"Get. Out. Now," demands Pidge.
"Why?" asks Lance as he starts to walk around the desk. "I'm the one who actually belongs here." The lights around the room turn from green to red. "Like what I did there?" Stunned, Pidge starts walking backwards, trying to put distance between her and Lance as the room becomes blury.
"What's...what did you-" Pidge stumbles over her chair, hitting the ground. She tries to get up but the metallic maw of the green lion wraps over her chest. She looks up to see the shadowy figure of Voltron looking down on her.
"You can lie to your team, you can lie to yourself, but you can not lie to us," says the combined voices of Voltron. "We know what you are..." The Blazing Sword appears in Voltron's free hand. "Broken."
"No..." says Pidge. "No, I'm not broken. I'm not! This isn't real!"
"Maybe," says Voltron, "but the consequences?" Voltron goes to stab Pidge through the head. She screams in fear as she tries to free herself before-
Pidge jerks awake, from a pool of her own spit. She quickly wipes her face as she looks over to see Lance, covered in bandages and hooked up to several machines. She sighs before resting her head back on Lance's bed.
Pidge's eyes wander over to a window. Her whole body becomes tense as she meets the gaze of the Red Lion with the Green Lion standing behind it. The Red Lion's gaze becomes so intense it slightly cracks the bedroom window.
