Holy moly I just woke up from this wild dream
…this wild dream where in the same way you find out Leli is some kind of lyrium ghost??? (Don’t need that part substantiated thANKS) Cassandra is like 500 years old and dying. And she didn’t remember the former part.
Until that point.
So much Halim-related angst.
But honestly laws of equivalent labour exchange aside, I would have thrown Bull's dick out the window (metaphorically, kadan) for a dance scene. Or less coneboob. No, def _the dance scene_.
New DLC worries me for the Qunari, they are my precious if flawed babies. Also what if we have to fight Arishok-Sten! I can't do that, like legit just "do not pass go do not collect finishing the dlc " cannot do that. I look forward to your reaction as more info and the dlc itself eventually comes out though .
Depending on how much the DLC costs (the exchange rate is BALLS right now) and how much it costs to fix Szadz, my laptop (something else went wrong with his screen), and how much I personally want to spend a few unreturnable hours blast through *those new enemies* (though Paloma’s eager), you uh…you might have to wait for a while for that reaction, greyface. Patience is half of piety and all that.
Oh what’s that? A new DLC dropped?
…
…no.
No, no, no, no. No no no. NO NO NO NO NO NO NONONONONONONONO FUCK YOUR NOISE
The horrible part of the whole thing with this rumoured DLC is:
When DA:I came out I was 1001% convinced that if Sten was going to show up, it would be as a villain an antagonist to the Inquisition and the Inquisitor would end up having to kill him dead. He would come for Bull, or somesuch.
And THAT didn’t happen, so I relaxed a bit
BUT HEY DO YOU SMELL WHAT THE RUMOUR MACHINE IS COOKING
LOVE THAT AROMA OF COOKIES AND BULLSHIT
Post-DA3 aspirations
Paloma revels in her power and wields it fully in the service of her people. She flushes the Freemen and all other humans out of the Dales, then invites all willing clans to carve out a home at the next arlath’ven. She finds happiness in her work and love in the Inquisition. And when there’s a report of a dragon, she’s still the first to pick up a bow and declare a hunt.
Vyera never does get her cottage in the mountains with a field of turnips and a white picket fence. But she has a man she loves and a bracing view of the Frostbacks, and blood lotuses to pick and misfits to fold into a family that grows and grows in Skyhold.
And Halim? Halim is still his gentle, upright self at the end: a little more expressive, a little more outspoken, but still more than willing to fight for those who can’t. He still has his gold put away to take ship for Par Vollen, but when he looks at Cassandra in the mornings that want is a little bit less.
Had another reasonably intense dream, in which there was a DA3 playable demo and Bull had this…truly odd Nevarran accent. queenqueso said (in the dream) that she’d speculated that Bull might have been Vashoth, and hey looky, she was right!
Then suddenly Cole came in, freaking out that one of the Inquisition agents had gone missing and there was this large hornless Qunari dude standing at the keep gates—
I do miss the electric darkspawn chair and Kirkwall invasion by viddathari in warpaint that my other dreams promised.
