Obviously I’m concerned about how Briala could be treated by da4(or whatever future dragon age content) as a major player, when dai already whitewashed her and made reuniting her with Celene seem like a Good Thing™.
But that said, I’m going to be incredibly disappointed if they make her irrelevant in the future. The writers(ok, Weekes mostly, if not entirely, because TME) built up all these comparisons between her and Fen'Harel and even Shartan and it would be very frustrating for them to throw all of that away while giving Solas free reign to tear things apart in his fancy armor.
