i love it a lot but
so like christine was seven when she came to the opera house
idk how old erik was probably like early twenties??? i think gerik is young bc like there's no fing way that dude is 50
and so he eventually falls in love with her after training her???? he met her when she was seven
keep in mind christine is sixteen during the main events of the movie
and he has a MANNEQUIN OF HER THAT IS FUCKING DETAILED AND LIFELIKE (YES I KNOW IT'S EMMY ROSSUM IN THE FILM BUT IN THE STORY) AND IT HAS A WEDDING DRESS WHICH HE PROBABLY FUCKING MADE LIKE W HAT THE HELL
that took a long freaking time probably though what else does he have to do besides lie to a young girl and light all those candles
so when did he start that??? when she was fifteen??? possibly fourteen you don't know
keep in mind like in this version she thinks he's her dad
