Shouto not recognizing Dabi as Touya because he was so young when Touya left he doesn’t remember what he looked like clearly and his personality being radically different than the vague hazy memories he actually does have of his oldest brother.

Anyway I had a terrible idea for a fanfic or oneshot where Shouto is hit with an age reversing quirk while the LOV attacks, he gets scared and runs to Dabi bc Dabi is the only one he knows/recognizes. Since at that age he hadn’t forgotten Touya’s face and he can tell Dabi is Touya. He’s frightened and doesn’t know where he is and the only person anywhere who he trusts is Touya Dabi.
