7. Do they have any unusual fears?

One of Kalei’s more unusual fears is the internal anatomy of living things. Knowing vaguely that people have things like organs and bones and blood and meat inside of them all squished together and doing weird shit constantly makes her metaphorical skin crawl, seeing any of that outside of the body where it’s no longer contained? An absolute nightmare, she will do whatever it takes to not have to see it or interact with it in any way. If you needed any more proof that they were not built for adventuring

35. Do they believe in fate or do they believe they are in charge of their own destiny?

For Dacio it’s kind of?? a little bit of both? He very much believes that he’s charge of his own destiny, he wants to do good for the world and he’s forging his own path to do so. He’s making things happen because he wants them to happen, not because some outside force deemed it so. On the other hand, there’s a little part of him that feels like fate can and does intervene in critical moments. He’s positive escaping his past would’ve been impossible had it not been for some sort of cosmic intervention.

39. What does their happily ever after look like?

As he is presently? Dacio’s happily ever after is fairly straightforward. In his happy ending, he’d have a real home, he and the people he cares about would be safe, and he would’ve made some sort of positive impact with his life. He’d be traveling the continent without needing to worry about any dire threats, helping and healing anyone who may need it along the way to his next destination. Whenever he feels like a rest he’d have his little cottage in one of the coastal towns and a free clinic there that he could make use of when he’s not traveling. It’s not all that much honestly but it’s what would make him happiest and he deserves that!!

8. What do they believe will happen to them after they die? Does this belief scare them?

Desi tries not to think about that sort of thing all too much anymore. They’re not too sure about any sort of afterlife and, after dying once already, they’ve become a bit concerned that “dying” is only ever going to mean waking up worse off than how you were before. The colony of semi-sentient fungi piloting around their body was a jarring adjustment to make after the first round of dying, the last thing they want to do is die again and be forced to wake up in a state that has even less of themself present. It’s not something they fear per se, but it is something they dread. They’d really like to rest in peace eventually.

(I was so torn on who to pick for this one but Alistair has been on the brain recently)

37. How easy is it for them to say “I love you”? Do they say it without meaning it?

Everything Alistair says is what they think people want to hear and rarely will it be anything else. Due to their upbringing, they’ve always had a sort of unhealthy fixation on gaining the approval and affection of others which has carried over into their adulthood. As such, he can say a lot of things quite easily and “I love you” happens to be one of them. If he thinks it’s what someone wants to hear from him, it’s what he’ll tell them. The phrase has never carried any real value to them and they’ve still yet to say it and truly mean it. As one might expect from this, they’re a pro at speedrunning their way through relationships.

I stumbled on something cool

THIS. Jesus Christ, im such a fan of photography in dark places. I didn’t know she had a whole website dedicated to her work as well as other photographers. 😩. Makes me want to rebrand and recreate my website.

I need a job that allows me to find myself in luxurious hotels every weekend with a model or three willing to take pictures that will help leave my name in history. I try my best not to copy or immitate too blatantly. Shying away from people who I really look up to. I want to make such work but for black women. My main issue right now is people and location. I work best with what I have. But at times I feel I have used my resources at best. Maybe thinking from a different point of view will bring better results.

I have tried my hardest not to work with white women, not out of racial issues but out of lack of an interest. As well as fear of issues which usually follow black men and white women (False charges). But if all goes well and i am to move to the school i wish to, i will have no choice but to shift my focus onto that of a white muse.

But if all does go well, I would be two hours away from Atlanta and would probably spend most weekends there trying to make a name for myself as an artist and photography. The one thing i hate is that there are no set rules to being an artist. Following your instincts and being true to self is what i hear. Years of practice in believing in yourself as well. Im going to work harder this coming year to be more active on this blog, sharing daily sketches, photography, videography as well as my thoughts and self development. December being a test run. At some point I have to stop worrying about the following and find myself right? Well the time has come.
