vol 12 came out in 2005? Oh no. I always make jokes about being in kurofai hell for over 10 years but it is True. Also, im so glad you are getting closer to vol 13, it is the first one I bought (I was a teen and chronological order was for losers I guess) and has SO much sentimental value for me.

AN ENTIRE DECADE OF KUROFAI HELL. At this point you should probably be getting your Lifetime Membership card in the mail. 

I’m really looking forward to Volume 13 as well! Mostly because I can’t wait to see what could possibly happen next, but I’m so thrilled to hear that it was your gateway into the series! You know it’s gotta be something special if it was the one responsible for sending you to hell in the first place.

Thank you @daclampfeels for the advice on putting in a background layer! Unfortunately due to the source of the image (or some setting I've altered without realizing it) I can only put the background in grayscale and not a bright color, but that's helped tremendously. By switching this image from background to a front layer, I was able to swtich erasers to something that's much more efficient. Now instead of having to click exactly on a colored spot, I can erase wherever, which is way more convenient. I had to restart on it, but whatever. It took me about a 1/6th of the time to get here compared to how much it took with my other way. I'll try to finish this today!
