Going on a long hike is becoming a new daily for me. Years ago I used to hike every day, and I somehow got out of the habit. Today the trails weren’t busy and people gave each other lots of space when passing. Even though the human world is in quarantine, it’s still spring in Colorado and the forest has woken up. I found some orange Dacrymyces along the trail and did my standard photo pose, but I like this one of me falling over a bit better. Today while I hiked I was thinking of all the pain and chaos of the last ~10ish months...and how that has led to some extremely real conversations and moments with people.
