Christmas Pajamas

a/n: i’m not really happy with how this turned out. idk i feel like it shows the writing was rushed but i still wanted to get it out. it has so much cute fluff so i hope you guys like it!

Christmas Eve was a big deal in your household. You and Sapnap tried your best to keep up traditions along with the christmas spirit. Your kids looked forward to Christmas, as any children did.

“Are you done with your food?” Sapnap asked your oldest son, Silas. He was practically jumping out of his chair, too excited to start the Christmas Eve festivities.

You sat infront of the high chair feeding your youngest her first Christmas Eve dinner. Penny was just about six months-old and you were so excited to finally experience Christmas having a daughter. Sapnap was always sure to spoil his kids, but now having a daughter called for spending more money on her.

Sapnap cleaned up the table, moving slowly almost to tease his kids. Your two boys jumped up from the table, pulling on their dads feet to get him to move faster. Your boys were very close, the two year age gap meaning they could do almost everything together. Silas was now four and had this Christmas routine down, Finn was two. Sapnap loved having two boys, always taking them outside to play basketball or whatever other rough housing they did.

“Okay, okay, let me go you monsters.” Sapnap chuckled, finishing up the dishes. He opened the hallway closet to reveal a stack of wrapped presents.

Your boys gasped, the sight of presents amazing them. Sapnap motioned for them to go sit in the living room, you bringing Penny over.

Every year you gave your kids the same christmas gift. They all got matching pajamas, and a new stuffed animal. It was simple but a cherished tradition nonetheless.

Sapnap handed your boys their boxes, letting them rip into the paper. Sapnap picked out their pajamas which ended up being pokémon themed. The fuzzy pants had the most commonly seen characters on them and the shirt had pikachu. Silas got a charizard plush while Finn got a squirtle. They were on cloud 9, absolutely obsessing with their presents.

Sapnap opened Penny’s gift, pulling out a pokémon onesie. “Look at what you got, babygirl! You like Eevee?”

Your little girl squealed in your arms, reaching out to the Eevee plushe that matched her onesie. Your family was all now matching in pokémon attire and it melted your heart.

Sapnap got you matching pokémon pajama bottoms. The family photo was adorable. All your kids smiling so wide, pure excitement for Christmas coming tomorrow. You couldn’t wait to see the smiles on their face while going through all the presents you and Sapnap got them.

okay vintage, please hear me out. dad!sapnap sharing his excitement and interest for pokémon with his kid/kids. maybe opening a pack of cards with them, or showing them his card collection from when he was younger. i think it would be the most precious moment ever :(

i fully believe dad!sapnap would try to get his kids to like everything he liked as a kid so he could relive his childhood.. also i don’t know anything about pokémon or the rarity of cards so i tried my best lmao

Sapnap always tried to include his kids in his interests. There were many times when he let his son sit in his lap while playing valorant or he and his daughter played minecraft on the playstation together. He most recently got his daughter into Pokémon cards. It was no longer a surprise when he randomly showed up at home with a few packs for her to open.

“Love bugs? I brought home gifts!” He called from the doorway.

His daughter, Lila, came running down the stairs. She was just a hair short of four years-old. She was at the age where she started to understand the games that her dad played, which made her all the more interested. She still didn’t fully grasp card games but she was just happy to get presents.

His son slowly made his way down the stairs behind his sister. Peter was a bit over one year-old. Still learning how to catch his balance and putting together small sentences.

Sapnap kept the bag in one arm, scooping Peter up in the other. The little boy tried to peer into the bag to see his gift. “Let’s go in the living room and then you can see what I got you!” Sapnap told them.

The three of them sat on the carpet, Lila impatiently waiting to see what Sapnap pulled out. He set Peter in his lap, opening the bag.

“Okay first thing is…” He drew out the suspense. He quickly pulled his arms out of the bag to reveal two stuffed animals. “Snorlax and Jigglypuff!”

The two kids eyes lit up at the sight of plushes. Peter reached out for Jigglypuff, pulling the character into his arms to hug. Sapnap handed the other one to Lila.

“But I wanted that one!” Lila pointed at the toy in her brothers hands. She was struggling with sharing and not always getting her way, something she was learning how to cope with.

“You got Snorlax, he’s good too! And I got you something else.” Sapnap smiled, pulling out a few pokémon packs.

Lila didn’t understand how pokémon actually worked. She watched the cartoons with her dad so she knew they battled each other. She was only really interested in the cool art and animals on the cards.

She reached forward to tear one open, laying the cards out infront of her. She made sure to give time to every card, fully taking in how the characters looked. She picked up a Mew to show it to Sapnap. In the process the card bended in her hands, causing her dad to cringe at the sight.

They went through the rest of the packs. In one of the packs they found a full art Blastoise. Sapnap gasped, taking the card to inspect it. “You have to be careful with this one, sweetie” He warned her.

When they were done ogling at the cards, Lila put them into a nice stake infront of her. “Can we put these in my binder?”

“Of course, honey.” He picked up Peter and the stuffed animals, following Lila to her room.

When Sapnap first started giving his daughter pokémon cards he made sure to give the girl her own binder with card holders. She had quite a collection, her dad put all of her cards safely in storage.

She started adding the new ones in, Sapnap helping her. When Sapnap saw the rare Blastoise, he quietly slipped it into his hoodie pocket. She couldn’t tell the difference and Sapnap didn’t have this card yet, so what he was taking from his kid.. He bought the cards anyway.

Lila took her time putting every one in the holders. “All done!” She smiled, jumping up to hug Sapnap.

He pulled her into a hug, falling back on the floor for both his kids to pile on top of him. “I love pokémon’s, dad.” She smiled, picking up her plushe to play with on her dads chest.

hihihihi again! saw you post about being more specific about the kids being older so i thought of the kids being 11-15 how would sapnap deal with them fighting with each other(sibling fighting)or how would he deal with them getting into an argument about something they disagreed on?

The yelling coming from downstairs warned Sapnap that something was wrong. It wasn’t screams of fear or worry, but anger. Sapnap was not suprised by the yelling. He had an older daughter, Athena, and a younger son, Tyler. Athena would pick on her little brother and Tyler would retaliate by being as annoying as he could.

He opened the door to his sons room, finding Tyler sitting on his bed as Athena was rummaging through his closet. “I know you took my phone!”

“What’s going on?” Sapnap asked to quiet his kids and assess the issue.

“Your stupid son took my phone and hid it!” Athena popped her head up, pointing an accusing finger at her brother.

Tyler scoffed, “I actually didn’t. She’s just tearing up my room for no reason!”

Athena went to yell at Tyler before Sapnap cut them off, “Okay that’s enough! Athena go to the living room, let me talk to him.”

When the door shut Sapnap sat on the edge of his sons bed. Tyler pulled his legs closer to him and crossed his arms, putting up an invisible barrier between the two. He knew what he was doing was wrong, him and Sapnap had this conversation more than once.

“Did you take it?” Sapnap asked a simple question, being met with his son pulling the phone out from under his pillow.

The small sigh that Sapnap let out caused Tyler to get defensive. “She never talks to me anymore! She’s always texting her friends, she barely acknowledges me..”

Sapnap scooted closer to his son. “I know.. She’s in high school now and thinks she’s too cool for you. You shouldn’t take her things though because it will just make her more upset with you..”

Tyler nodded, his arms slowly coming uncrossed. Sapnap continued, “Maybe I can talk to her? Explain how you’re feeling.. She’s your older sister so i’m sure she’ll understand.”

When Tyler nodded Sapnap left to find Athena on the couch. He handed her the phone, sitting down next to her.

“Thanks dad. God, he’s so stupid! He does this all the time.” His daughter spoke.

“He’s just trying to get your attention. He told me he thinks you are ignoring him, he misses the time you used to spend together.” Sapnap softly spoke, looking Athena in the eyes to get his point across.

“Well he’s not doing it the right way.. He’s getting my attention in a bad way. He should just come talk to me.” Athena’s head fell, she knew she had been neglecting her relationship with her brother.

“I know, I already told him that what he did was wrong. You should go talk to him.”

Athena nodded, her eyes had a look of sorrow.

When dinner came around the siblings were back on good terms. They filled each other in on all the news they didn’t tell each other. Sapnap felt proud he raised such good kids. Now and then he had to step in but he still cherished how much compassion his children had.

It had been two days since you found out you were pregnant. Your boyfriend, Sapnap, wasn’t even home for you to tell him. You were left in your house a worrying mess as to wether or not you could even handle this baby.

When the door opened to Sapnap coming home you practically ran into his arms. You buried your head in his chest, wrapping your arms ever so tightly around him.

Sapnap chuckled, pulling you close. “I missed you so much, honey.”

Sapnap’s oblivion to the problem you two now had to navigate made you feel horrible. You pulled him tighter and your breathing got heavier.

Sapnap kissed your forehead before pulling away to look at your face. When he saw the color was drained from your skin and the worried look you had in your eye he got nervous.

“What’s wrong?” He asked, bringing a hand up to cup your jaw.

You sighed, bowing your head to avoid eye contact. “I have something to tell you and I don’t know how you’ll react.”

Sapnap’s breath hitched as he waited for you to tell him. His hand on your waist gripped tighter.

You looked back up at him, “I’m pregnant. I found out the other day but I wanted to tell you face-to-face.”

His face softened and his pupils dilated. The two of you stood there for a second in silence as your boyfriend processed what he was told. Every second he didn’t respond, the more you dug yourself into a hole.

“Actually?” His voice croaked when he finally spoke.

You nodded slightly before he pulled you into a hug, tighter than when he first came home. Your face squished into the sweater he was wearing, relief flooding your body.

He pulled you back once more, “It is mine, right?”

You laughed, “Yes Sapnap, it’s yours.”

A wide smile broke out onto his face as he pushed forward to kiss you. He left kisses on every part of your face, leaving no inch of skin un-kissed. You were both giggling during Sapnap’s attack of affection. He kissed you on your lips once more before moving away to grab your hand.

He reassured you to follow him, leading you out to his car. He opened the center console and pulled out a small box. When he turned around to face you his face was bright pink, nervous eyes looking anywhere but at yours.

When he opened the box to confirm the suspicions you had, you suddenly felt very dizzy. You grabbed onto Sapnap’s arm to stable yourself. “Honey, you don’t have to do this just because i’m pregnant.”

“Sweetheart, I’ve been preparing for this for so long but I could never find the right time. But I think now is a good time as ever.” He smiled so wide you could see his gums and his eyes were squinted.

Your grip on his arm tightened while he said that. You couldn’t decide wether to look him in the eyes or admire the ring he picked out.

“So.. Will you marry me?” He asked, a shake evident in his voice.

You nodded your head and opened your mouth to respond. “Yes.. Yes of course!”

Sapnap pulled you into his chest again, leaving the sweetest kisses on your lips. He pulled the sparkling ring out, pushing it on your finger. The diamonds were gorgeous and you were sure Sapnap spent a pretty penny on it.

Your now fiancé kissed you again, joy was radiating off of him. “Found out i’m having a baby and getting married all in the same day.” He chuckled to himself.

When Sapnap moved in with Dream it became a tradition to watch the Sooners game every saturday. After George moved in the saturdays together continued, even if he didn’t fully grasp the game. When the boys had kids they knew they wanted them to be close as they were. So, saturday games now turned into dads watching football and a playdate for the now toddlers.

Dream went to open the door, holding his daughter Willow on his hip. She was wearing a small Sooners jersey, Dream always made sure his little girl was repping his team. George and his son Henry appeared outside the door. Willow squealed at the sight of one of her best friends, demanding to be put down.

“Sooners jersey again? You’re basically brainwashing poor Willow.” George joked, watching as the toddlers pulled each other in for a hug.

Sapnap arrived after George with his daughter Athena and once all three toddlers were together, they immediately started playing.

The kids sat on the floor playing with all the toys Willow pulled out from her room. Henry was being picked on, forced to play as the character he didn’t want just because he was the only boy. Willow and Athena always insisted they get first pick of the toys since ‘girls always go first’.

About an hour and a half into the game, nearing nap time was when the kids tuckered out. Henry was laying on a bean bag, fast asleep and oblivious to the game on the television.

Willow was curled up in Dream’s chest, her eyes were fighting sleep as she tried her hardest to watch the game her dad was so interested in. Athena was layed across Sapnap and George’s laps, occupying herself by running a toy car over her dads knees.

“They played hard today, even getting a nap in early.” Sapnap chuckled, running a hand to tame his daughters light brown waves.

“Yeah but they always have fun. Don’t you, honey?” Dream looked down to his daughter who was blinking away the tiredness.

Willow nodded, shifting to cuddle even deeper into Dream’s arms. Saturdays were the days that everyone looked forward to the most.

In the past few months of having a newborn daughter, Sapnap had a newfound appreciation for shopping. Whenever you said you needed to run errands he practically begged you to make it a full family event.

You were stuck pushing the cart while Sapnap had your daughter in a baby sling across his chest. Today your little girl was wide awake for your shopping adventure, calling for her to be situated with her back against her dads chest. Sapnap didn’t care if it caused his back to hurt and was uncomfortable when she got restless, anything for his little girl.

“I have to go to the electronics section and get my phone fixed. Maybe you can go get some more baby puffs?” You suggested.

Sapnap agreed, heading for the food aisles. In order to get to the food he had to go through the baby section, his biggest weakness. The second he laid his eyes on the cute onesies and tiny shoes she would grow out of within a week, he couldn’t think of anything else.

Sapnap picked up a red dress with all the frills and sparkles. Holding up to the baby strapped to his chest he started to gush, “You’d look so pretty in this, princess!”

When your daughter reached her hand in the direction of a shirt with bears on it, her dad couldn’t say no. He grabbed it off the rack, smiling when your daughter let out a squeal at the shirt design.

“Well.. We can’t just get a shirt without matching pants..” Sapnap chuckled.

He picked up a pair of brown pants that went with the shirt. “Are you seriously getting more clothes for her?” He heard from behind him.

He turned to see you with a smile on your face. “I should’ve known you’d be here. Daddy loves dressing you up.” You giggled, reaching out to grab the little girls hand.

Sapnap ducked his head, a tint of blush appearing on his face. “I can’t help it.. She just looks so cute in everything!”

Your daughter giggled as Sapnap wrapped his arms around her, squeezing her closer to his chest for a hug. He wasn’t much a shopper for himself, but when it came to his daughter he didn’t have a budget.

I wonder how dream and george would react to sapnap becoming a dad.

Dream and George were a big part of Sapnap’s life. So when Sapnap came to you to suggest that Dream and George were in your sons life, you couldn’t say no.

Your son was born a little less than a month ago, you’ve slowly been allowing family and friends to come meet him. The people that were by far the most excited (and possibly most nervous) were Sapnap’s best friends.

Sapnap answered the door to his friends, welcoming them in. When he led them into the living room to see you sitting on the couch with your son in your hands, they practically melted.

Dream was the first to approach, sitting down next to you. You had become good friends with the boys in your years dating Sapnap, considering he spent majority of his time with them. Dream smiled down at the baby before turning and pulling you into a side hug.

“He’s so small..” Dream chuckled. “Can I hold him?”

You nodded and slowly handed your son off to Dream. Sapnap watched over the scene, praying that your little boy would like his uncles. When the baby sighed and wiggled to make himself more comfortable it felt like a weight off your chest.

George moved closer, sitting on the other side of Dream. George seemed a bit more apprehensive, worried he would do something wrong. George reached a weary hand out, slowly reaching to hold his hand. When your son wrapped his fingers around George’s and shut his eyes contentedly, it was another sigh of relief.

“Geez Sap, he really does look like you.” George commented.

Dream and George sat with your son for a while, taking in the fact that their best friend now had a child and they were uncles. During the pregnancy they had told Sapnap all about how they would be the cool uncles. You were sure your little boy would grow up loving minecraft and football.

Sapnap picked his son up from Dream’s arms, smiling down at the big brown eyes that look back up at him. “So, you guys are prepared to be the built in baby sitters?” He joked.
