"Shhh, stay still", Tom asked you in a whispered rushed voice, for the second time that night. Still, you kept squirming on your seat at the fluffy carpet of your room.

"Tommy, I'm tired!", you complained, sighing loudly.

"Know, my love, just two more minutes and I swear I'll be done", he emphasized, though he did say the same thing around ten minutes ago.

He caressed his hand over your scalp, massaging it just the slightly, making sure you were going to enjoy it.

"I'm the pregnant here, weren't you supposed to be doing what I want?", you tease, eyes closing as you trie your hardest to not move.

“Very funny”, he mocks, “But all I’m doing is trying to be a great father for when the little girl arrives”, he argues, and you can’t help but smile.

“Tom, you already gonna be the greatest out of all fathers in this world. You don’t need to know how to style our daughter’s hair for this”, you turn your head slightly to look at him, a soft and encouraging smile on your face. Tom smiles too, a big and happy twinkle on his eyes.

“Love you, darling”, he kisses the top of your head. “But now, please, stay still for just more three minutes”.

could you do a blurb of dad!tom playing with his child?

it would be different for every stage and age of the baby. like when she’s 5-6months and just learning to crawl and learning the most crucial parts of growth like movement and hand-eye coordination, it’s still mostly peek-a-boo and blowing raspberries on her stomach. he sings to her all the time and usually she falls asleep when he sings and dances around the kitchen with her. and when she’s like 2-4, he starts teaching her little dances to show you like austin and elle/the ace family i feel like he’d spoil her with anything she wants, like taking her to toy stores and letting her pick out anything she wants. he’d build little block houses with her and pLAY BARBIES !!!!!!! they’d get in their swimsuits and fill up the bathtub to make a “pool party” with the barbies. he would be such an amazing dad oh my gosh because he knows her nap times and he can always always get her to go to sleep no matter what
