More Dad Mato and his three little ghosts thoughts
• Because he was living in isolation and got lost in his thoughts fairly regularly, Mato would sometimes (often) forget to eat ; and barely ever took the time to really cook anything. But after taking the kids under his roof? He decided to get serious about cooking ; three meals a day, ingredients as fresh as possible, varied and balanced dishes... He had some trouble at first but now he's actual a pretty good cook. He occasionally takes the kids foraging in Greenpath and the Fungal Wastes, and the Dirtmouth market has become one of their regular family outings.
• Knight is happy. About everything. They're happy to be living with Mato, they're happy to have more siblings, they're happy that Mato doesn't look so sad anymore, they're happy that Green and Kin are happy, they're happy they get to eat walnut butter and jelly sandwiches every morning... The list goes on.
• Green is definitely the artist of the family. At first when playing with Knight they would use mud to draw on the side of Mato's hutt, until Mato bought them a basic paint kit and parchment paper. They've painted things like the view from the cliffs, their house, their siblings... Knight is trying to get Mato to take the three of them to visit Sheo and Mato is starting to consider it more and more...
• Despite Kin being the one who originally trusted Mato the least (they trusted Knight who trusted him, instead), they're now becoming the most like him out of the siblings. They're the most excited about nail-wielding and training, they (unintentionally) mimick some of his mannerisms, they (intentionally) try to copy some of the things Mato does like having a savory breakfast instead of sweet and drinking tea... And although they've been too nervous to ask yet, they really wanna wear a bandana just like him.
