Good old days...

Do you know that moment when you hear a song and you are teleported back into your childhood? I just had one of those. My Dad is an old rock/metal head, I grew up with certain music. My Playlist just playing through on shuffle, suddenly threw AC/DC's "Shoot to thrill" at me and I instantly became 10 year old me, dancing in my parents living room with my Dad, growling the liyrics into a banana like it was a mic, while my mother tried very hard not to laugh. Gosh, I miss those days...

Allthough the lyrics weren't ment for a ten year old, back then I didn't even know how to ask what time it was in english XD

It's Father's Day, and I don't know about you, but Dad's are pretty awesome.

  They come in many shapes and sizes and different personalities.  I hope your Dad was or is spectacular and I hope you don't forget to tell them you love them (even if it is sappy).

My dad sent me a card once when I was visiting my friend Adam in Baltimore. It was a small blue card with a marching banana peel on the front and inside it said 'Here's a happy little card to make you smile or piss you off!' I still think about that sometimes.

So yesterday Dad and I were in line at Dairy Queen (cause I wanted a banana blizzard don'tchakno) and this guy just pulls in front of us in line and cuts his way in. I was absolutely furious. UNTIL I remembered being about seven and my Pawpa bringing me to that very same Dairy Queen and driving his truck up onto the sidewalk and running other customers out of the line so I didn't need to stand in the rain. My anger dissipated with that memory. Sometimes people do crazy things for what they think are perfectly acceptable reasons.

in my terrible opinion, Limoncello flavor LaCroix is amazing because it reminds me of having frozen lemonaid cups with my dad at festivals and Six Flags over Astroworld when I was growing up.
