An intro...
I found myself wanting to write something of my experiences as a Dad.
But, more specifically, my experiences as a 30 year trying my hardest to be a Dad.
In the most succinct way possible here's me; I have a 15 year old step-son and a 3 year old daughter. I married last year (the day before my 30th). My little family and I live, quite happily, in what I would describe as an average household, in your most average of towns.
Probably not the most exciting of people from that description but hey, this isn't about my life story. No, what I wanted to share were my thoughts and experiences as I fumble my way through trying to be a Dad because lets be honest, it isn't always easy (contrary to popular belief and no doubt hundreds of articles on 'Net Mums').
You see, I have found that being a dad is a very rewarding role. At times it is fun, at times not so and I am interested to see how many other Dads out there have similar experiences to me. So, if I still have tour attention after this, my first ever post, then please continue to read and support as I fumble my way through being a part time 'blogger' too.
