While my kids are home during the COVID-19/coronavirus shutdown, they are doing various academic tasks, including "Dad's Class".
Today we covered basic web technologies, including introductory HTML and CSS coding. During that, we looked at the HTML source code for various web sites. We found this little comment at the very end of Amazon.com's code: an ASCII duck that meows.
It was a lesson in how computer programmers can get bored, like those silly doodles on Medieval manuscripts.
