WHO: Edgar Bones and Edward Bones WHEN: January 4th, 10PM, Late night after the attack WHERE: Hospital Wing
Edgar was finding himself growing more and more bored as the night went on. It had been nice spending time with Gabrielle, but once she’d left, he’d found himself staring rather anxiously at the wall, unable to stop himself from wondering where all of his friends were. Was Ted alright? What about Frank? His mother’s arrival had put a half to these thoughts, and for a little, he had only been focused on her. But when mum left, and he was there by himself again, the thoughts returned. So, at this point, Edgar was really looking for something -- anything -- to distract him.
Eventually, the door opened, and Edgar hurriedly looked in that direction. He had expected to be another injured student perhaps, or a professor, or an auror, or some ministry official. He supposed he was sort of right when he realized it was his father coming in, looking like he’d been through hell of a fight himself. His mother had already explained what had happened, so he’d known his father was safe, but seeing him made Edgar’s heart jump into his throat, similar to the way it had when his father had been attacked by the Acromantula.
Against common sense, and the direction of his healers, Edgar hurriedly pushed himself up from his hospital bed. Fire burned through his leg, so hot he thought had almost been hit by some sort of burning potion. He cursed his wounded leg, but persevered anyways. By this point, his father had made his way over to a bed of his own, across the room. Edgar limped along steadily, clenching his jaw to ignore the pain in his thigh. He’d be damned if he wasn’t going to go and talk to his dad after such a traumatic ordeal. He was only a few steps away when his dad lifted his head. The two Bones men made eye contact, and Edgar wiped all traces of pain from his face, moving to stand by his father.
“Dad!” He exclaimed, glancing to the bandage around his leg. “Are you alright? Have you seen Amelia? Is she okay?”
