Today I’m remembering my father on the day he passed last year. They’ll never be enough paper 📝 for me to be able to touch on all the great memories I have with my dad...But one that really comes to mind is how we would always listen to music. Here’s a picture of us at the Oinkster in Eagle rock. We sat in the parking lot in my car and listened to the full version of the Doors, “Light My Fire”, then we listened to Shirley Bassey‘s version with her big band orchestra, and then we listened to Jose Feliciano‘s version... I remember consciously cherishing the moment and holding my dad‘s hand while we enjoyed the different versions of the one song. Dad’s comment was “What a great drummer” John Densmore -the Doors had.
