maybe hcs for daddy allen being an actual dad? can you imagine him coming to his kid's school for show and tell where kids show off their parents jobs? does that even still happen??

Actual Daddy!Allen is my weakness tbfh.

But c’mon y’all know he would be such a hot mess.

Allen never felt too strongly about having kids or not 

That wasn’t exactly a priority for him, busy man that he was 

Of course, after meeting his S/O and getting a taste of domestic life, he suddenly can’t stop thinking about it 

He brings it up in passing, attempting to be casual about it, and when his S/O off-handedly mentions that they would love to have children with him, they’re alarmed by his enthusiasm 

Either way, it doesn’t take long for there to be multiple additions to his little family

Despite wanting them, Allen knows jack shit about taking care of kids 

He does his best though, and is regularly looking advice up 

‘can babies die if they don’t burp’

‘how to tell if child is full’

‘baby not crawling yet’

‘can babies hate you’

He gets the hang of it though 

Eventually 

Now, when his kids get older, he quickly realizes parenting gets much more difficult

“DAVID, CAN WE GET ICE-CREAM?”

“Stop calling me that…and yeah why not”

His busy work schedule makes it difficult to spend time with his children, so naturally he isn’t as close to them as he would like 

Plus, they prefer his S/O’s company since they’re the one doing most of the child rearing anyway

Sometimes Allen has to bring his kids to work (can’t find a babysitter and honestly nobody in the station minds) and he’s always prepared 

His office becomes a mini-daycare room, which his colleagues find hilarious 

Nothing’s funnier than Allen grilling someone while bouncing a toddler on his lap, old SpongeBob episodes (Allen’s choice) playing in the background 

He is AWFUL at censoring his words 

Meaning his house is filled with innocent potty-mouths 

“Daddy, why do you hate that fucking prick?” :D

“You’re gonna get me killed”

Used to mock Dad Jokes, but then starts to tell them unironically 

His children LOVE having him toss them up in the air or swing them around 

He uh… definitely never almost dropped a kid before… 

Allen once threw himself on the ground to catch his toddler, who was jumping on the couch and lost balance

Best Dad Award right there (but also kinda his fault for not paying attention in the first place lol)

Now, as for show and tell…

Allen is finally able to make it and feels like a Real Parent standing with his fellow Dads™

And when it’s his kid’s turn to present?

“My daddy shoots people!”

His S/O just laughs at his mortified face
