I’m taking the first two weeks of this year to count the blessings that are right in front of me. Having a father is one of the biggest ones, and yet we often take it for granted. • My father turned 70 two days ago, and I could think about was God’s grace towards him and his family for loaning him to us this long. • He may still be young, but I will not take any more days that we have left with him for granted because no one is promised tomorrow. • But we have today to make the most out of each moment.
