Authors Note: Sorry this chapter is so late! I hope you guys are enjoying this story so far! I enjoy writing it! :) P.S. Jared might make his appearance next chapter ;) And I know they are all from Texas but in this story they are all from California. It makes sense with the Santa Monica Pier and everything. Jensen and Y/N have been texting every day now ever since the day that Jensen and Kaitlyn spent the day with Y/N. You were picking Kaitlyn up from school one day and you were excited to tell Kaitlyn that Y/N had texted you this morning saying that she was going to be in town this weekend. Kaitlyn saw you enter her classroom and she ran over and hugged you and you chuckled hugging her back.

“Hi daddy!” Kaitlyn smiled her top two teeth missing from currently losing some teeth.

“Hi baby girl! How was school today?” Jensen asked letting go of Kaitlyn and taking her hand while walking her back to the car.

“It was good. It was Grant’s birthday today. He didn’t have troll cupcakes though.” She pouted and you just chuckled.

“Not everybody loves trolls as much as you do Katie.” Jensen smirked and put Kaitlyn in her car seat and buckled her in. “Speaking of Trolls, Y/N texted me today. She’s gonna be in town this weekend.” Kaitlyn gasped excitedly and you grinned knowing she was happy. “How would you want to spend some time with her?” Kaitlyn started nodding like crazy.

“Yes! Yes! Yes! Where we gonna go?” Kaitlyn asked curiously.

“Um...I don’t know. Not sure. We’ll just have to ask her what she wants to do.” Jensen smiled as he answered and drove home.

“Maybe we can take her to the zoo!” Jensen chuckled.

“She might not want to do that. We’ll see. Maybe we can go to the carnival with us the one down the pier?”

“That’s even better daddy!” Kaitlyn squealed and Jensen nodded smiling.

“How about I text her and ask her when we get home and we’ll see what she says?” Kaitlyn nodded and Jensen smiled. “Great.” Jensen pulled into the house and Kaitlyn unbuckled herself and ran into the house excitedly. Jensen chuckled and shook his head. When Jensen walked in the house he pulled out his phone.

“What do you say about going to the carnival on the Santa Monica Pier with Katie and I on Saturday?” Jensen texted Y/N.

“What did she say?” Kaitlyn asked as she saw Jensen with his phone.

“I just sent her a text Miss Impatient. We have to wait for her to text back.” Jensen tassled her hair.

“Don’t do that daddy! You’ll mess up my pretty hair!” Kaitlyn frowned.

“When did you become such a drama queen?” Jensen raised an eyebrow and Kaitlyn stuck out her tongue. “You better watch that tongue little lady!” Jensen joked and Kaitlyn giggled. Jensen’s phone beeped and Kaitlyn was right behind him as he picked it up.

“What’d she say?!” Kaitlyn shouted and Jensen just chuckled and read the message to himself first.

“Sounds great! I arrive at the airport Saturday morning! I’ll call you when I get there. :)”

“Great! :) Katie and I are super excited!” Jensen sent the message instantly regretting for making himself sound too forward.

“She said she’ll be at the airport that morning and she’d call us. She also said okay to the carnival.” Jensen smiled and Kaitlyn jumped up excited. “Alright little rascal why don’t you sit here at the table and get started on your homework while I get dinner started?” Kaitlyn frowned but nodded and grabbed her backpack and set it on the table. Jensen saw another message from Y/N and read it.

“I’m excited too! Tell Kaitlyn I said hi! :)” Jensen smiled.

“I sure will. Talk later! :)” Jensen replied and put his phone back in his pocket. Jensen looked back at Kaitlyn.

“Y/N said to tell you she said hi.” Jensen said and Kaitlyn grinned and grabbed her papers from her bag. Jensen started making dinner as Kaitlyn started her homework. Jensen looked down to see what Kaitlyn was working on. She was working on tracing letters. “Wow baby! You’re doing such a great job!”

“Thank you daddy.” Kaitlyn smiled. “I have a hard time with the lowercase E though.”

“I know baby girl that is pretty hard to do. Why don’t you go wash up for dinner. It’s just about ready and then I can help you with it after dinner okay?” Kaitlyn nodded and put her pencil down and ran to the bathroom to wash her hands. Jensen made Kaitlyn her plate and set it on the table moving her things to the side and then made his own plate. Kaitlyn came back and sat in her chair and started eating. Jensen’s phone went off again and he saw that Y/N texted him back.

“So how was your day today?” Jensen smiled and replied back.

“It was pretty good. How was yours?” Jensen put his phone back on the table and took a bite of his food.

“Not bad. Can’t complain. Lol. Anyways I better get to bed. Have to get up super early! I’ll talk to you tomorrow Jensen. Goodnight. :)” Jensen smiled as he read the last text. He enjoyed it when Y/N used smiles in her texts.

“Alright, sleep well Y/N. Goodnight!” Jensen texted and put his phone back on the table and finished dinner.

*Saturday Morning*

Jensen was looking in his closet trying to find something to wear. Him and Kaitlyn were meeting up with Y/N today. He was nervous mostly because he could feel himself starting to develope feelings for her. He finally picked out one of his flannels and threw it on. Jensen walked into Kaitlyn’s room and turned on her light. Kaitlyn stirred a little before Jensen walked over and sat on the edge of her bed. Kaitlyn slowly opened her eyes still tired. “Hi Katie bug. We have to go pick up Y/N at the airport in a couple of hours so you need to get up so we can get around.” When Katie heard Jensen say Y/N’s name she immediately sat up and grinned.

“Yay! Can I have toast for breakfast daddy?” Kaitlyn asked smiling and Jensen nodded.

“Sure baby doll. I’ll get it ready while you get dressed.” Jensen kissed her forehead and walked downstairs to the kitchen to make Kaitlyn’s breakfast and made himself a cup of coffee. Kaitlyn got herself dressed and came down for breakfast. After they had finished with breakfast Jensen poured some coffee in a to go cup for Y/N and grabbed his wallet and keys. “Ready to go Katie?” Kaitlyn nodded excitedly and followed Jensen to the car.

Jensen arrived at the airport and grabbed Katie’s hand and walked inside and over to the gates where Y/N was supposed to be coming out. Jensen was standing against the wall watching for Y/N to walk out. Jensen’s breath was taken away when he saw you walking towards him. She was wearing a strapless dress with a small vest covering her shoulders and her hair was up in a messy bun. She smiled at Jensen as she walked up to him.

“Hey Jensen.”

“Hi Y/N.” Jensen licked his lips and raised his eyebrows at Y/N while giving a smile. 

Kaitlyn ran over to Y/N and hugged her leg and Y/N chuckled and bent down to her level.

“Hey pretty girl. Ready to go?” You smiled at Kaitlyn who nodded. You stood up and grabbed Kaitlyn’s hand before following Jensen to the car. Jensen strapped Kaitlyn in her carseat and got in the driver’s seat, Y/N hopped in the passenger’s seat. Jensen pointed to the coffee cup.

“I made you a coffee from home. I hope you like black ‘cause I ran out of sugar.” Jensen smiled lightly.

“That’s okay.” You smiled and picked up the coffee and took a sip and smiled. “It’s good. Thanks, Jensen.” Jensen smiled back and nodded before taking off to the pier.

My One Wish (New Series!)

Summary: Jensen surprises his daughter for her birthday.

Jensen was sitting on his daughter Kaitlyn’s bed braiding her hair so he could take her to school. “You know Katie for being a five year old you sure do sit still well long enough to let me do your hair.”

“Thank you daddy.” Kaitlyn replied smiling. After Jensen was finished braiding Kaitlyn’s hair he handed her a tupperware box filled with cupcakes.

“Here’s the cupcakes for your party at school.” Kaitlyn smiled even bigger.

“My Troll birthday cupcakes?” Jensen nodded.

“But remember, your birthday isn’t until tomorrow. Daddy has a very special surprise for you.” Jensen grinned and Kaitlyn gasped excitedly.

“Is it a Trolls toy?” Jensen chuckled at Kaitlyn’s new obsession with Trolls ever since the Trolls movie came out.

“You’ll see.” Jensen said tapping his index finger on the tip of her nose. “Now let’s go before you’re late for school.” Kaitlyn ran out to the car which was sitting in the garage. Jensen didn’t exactly have the best car but it was a car he’s wanted since he started driving. He drove a 2004 mustang.  Sure it was small and he had difficulty putting Kaitlyn in her carseat sometimes but he enjoyed it.

Jensen drove to the school which was about 10 minutes away from his house. Jensen parked in the parking lot and unbuckled Kaitlyn and helped her out of the car grabbing her hand. Kaitlyn took his hand and walked with Jensen inside the school. Jensen walked her to her classroom and bent down to give her a hug. “Have a good day at school baby.”

“I will daddy. See you after school.” Kaitlyn grinned and kissed Jensen’s cheek and skipped into the classroom. He couldn’t help but chuckle. Sometimes it was hard being a single dad but he loved Kaitlyn more than anything. Jensen looked down at his watch and saw that he had 15 minutes to be to work so he drove to Starbucks to grab a coffee before heading to work. Jensen worked in his own office as a music producer. He had perks for working for the music industry. One of them was getting backstage passes to meet Y/N. Y/N was a well known musician and actress known for her role as one of the Trolls in the movie that Jensen’s daughter loved so much. Jensen was going to take Kaitlyn to meet Y/N tomorrow for her birthday.

Later that day Jensen picked up from school. Kaitlyn was crawling in her carseat when Jensen asked, “How was school today. Did your friends enjoy the cupcakes we made?” Kaitlyn nodded happily.

“They were delicious daddy! You should be a chef!” Jensen chuckled.

“One job at a time baby.” Jensen buckled Kaitlyn into her carseat and drove home but not before Kaitlyn begging to listen to the Trolls soundtrack. He loved his daughter but he swore to himself that if he had to listen to “Get Back Up Again” he was going to throw the cd out the window. Of course his daughter won with that argument. Jensen made Kaitlyn spaghetti and meatballs for her birthday dinner.

“Daddy?” Kaitlyn asked while her and Jensen were sitting at the table eating.

“Yes baby girl?” Jensen asked looking up at Kaitlyn.

“Can we go and see Y/N tomorrow? She’s supposed to be here to talk about the movie.” Kaitlyn asked hopeful.

“I’m so sorry baby girl. Daddy can’t afford tickets. Plus they are all sold out. I know how much you want to see Y/N, but we just can’t.” Jensen frowned. He hated lying to her but he wanted to see the surprise on her face when she saw Y/N. Kaitlyn pouted.

“Okay daddy.”

“But don’t worry. We will have so much fun tomorrow you are going to love your surprise!” Jensen smiled big and even though she was upset about getting to meet Y/N she still smiled big. Later that evening Jensen was putting Kaitlyn to bed.

“Will you read me a story daddy?” Kaitlyn asked smiling.

“Sure baby. What story?” Jensen asked smiling also.

“Make up one. I like it when you make up stories.” Kaitlyn grinned and Jensen chuckled.

“Alright, Once upon a time, there was a girl named Kaitlyn Ackles. She loved the movie Trolls. In fact, some people would say she’s even obsessed with the movie.” Kaitlyn giggled.

“You’re silly daddy.” Jensen smiled and continued.

“Now, Katie’s birthday was tomorrow and she was turning 5. She really wanted to go meet one of her favorite actresses but her poor daddy couldn’t get tickets to meet her. But, her daddy promised her that tomorrow her birthday surprise was going to make her so happy and he intends to keep his promise. The End.”

“Promise?” Kaitlyn asked hopeful.

“I promise sweetheart.” Jensen smiled and kissed her cheek. “Goodnight. I love you.”

“I love you too daddy.” Kaitlyn smiled and turned on her side and closed her eyes. Jensen walked out the door, turning the lights off on his way out.

The next day Jensen went into Kaitlyn’s room to wake her up. Jensen was wearing a trolls birthday hat and had a trolls cupcake that he saved for her. He tapped on her shoulder. “Katie sweetheart. It’s morning. Wake up!” Jensen said and Kaitlyn turned over in her bed and slowly opened her eyes and saw what Jensen was wearing. “Happy birthday Katie!” Jensen grinned and Kaitlyn giggled.

“Silly daddy.” Jensen pouted playfully.

“I have one for you!” Jensen said putting the hat on Kaitlyn and handed her the cupcake. “Look you even get a cupcake for breakfast today!”

“Really?” Kaitlyn shouted excitedly taking the cupcake. “Can I have cupcakes for breakfast every day?!”

“Nice try.” Jensen smirked and Kaitlyn pouted. “Now eat. We have to get you dressed. You can’t be late for your surprise!” Kaitlyn nodded.

“Wait, what about my birthday wish?” Kaitlyn asked.

“Oh right! Give me a second!” Jensen ran downstairs to the kitchen and grabbed a candle and a lighter and went back upstairs to Kaitlyn’s room putting the candle in the cupcake and lighting it and started singing. “Happy Birthday to you, happy birthday to you, happy birthday Kaitlyn Marie Ackles! Happy birthday to you!” Kaitlyn giggled and blew out the candle and Jensen took the candle as Kaitlyn started eating her cupcake. Jensen went to back to his room to get the outfit he bought her for her birthday and then went back to her room. “What did you wish for?”

“I can’t tell you. It won’t come true if I tell you silly daddy.” Kaitlyn giggled as Jensen wiped the icing off her face with a kleenex.

“Right.” Jensen smiled and handed her the outfit that said “five and fabulous”. 

“Get dressed while I get my stuff.” Kaitlyn nodded and started to change her clothes as Jensen walked back to his room to grab the backstage passes he got to meet Y/N and stuck them in his pocket and threw his shoes on. He went to go check on Kaitlyn and saw that she had gotten herself dressed. “Ready to go sweetheart?” Kaitlyn nodded and smiled. “Alright let’s go!” Jensen and Kaitlyn walked out to the car and after buckling Kaitlyn in he drove to the hotel. When they got there and Jensen unbuckled Kaitlyn who looked at Jensen confused.

“Why are we at a hotel daddy?” Kaitlyn asked.

“This is your surprise.” Jensen grinned. “You’ll understand when we get inside.” Jensen grabbed her hand and walked inside the hotel and saw a poster of trolls outside the conference room.

“Trolls daddy!” Kaitlyn shouted excitedly.

“Yep.” Jensen smiled at Kaitlyn and walked into the conference room and saw Y/N’s picture on the stage.

“Daddy! Are we going to see Y/N?” She gasped and Jensen nodded and bent down to her level.

“And these…” Jensen pulled out the passes. “Are for us to meet Y/N after she answers questions on stage.” Jensen grinned and Kaitlyn gasped and grabbed one of the passes. “This is your surprise.”

“Thank you! Thank you daddy!” Kaitlyn hugged Jensen tightly.

“You’re welcome baby doll. You deserve it.” Jensen grinned at Kaitlyn. “Why don’t we find a seat before they start?” Kaitlyn nodded and Jensen found them some seats towards the front. Soon after you walked up on stage and everyone shouted.

“Thank you everyone.” You said once everyone had quieted. “I want to say thank you to who all that showed up! I enjoyed making this movie for the kids and I’m so happy that it received all the love this movie did.” Kaitlyn was so intrigued as you stood up on stage talking and Jensen swore you started at him for a few seconds before looking at Jensen’s daughter. “So I see we have a birthday girl in the room.” Kaitlyn gasped excitedly.

“Me!” Kaitlyn shouted. Everyone including you laughed at Kaitlyn’s eagerness.

“What’s your name sweetheart?” You asked smiling.

“Kaitlyn Marie Ackles!” Kaitlyn shouted and Jensen swore to himself for her shouting out her full name to the crowd who again laughed at Kaitlyn for acting so cute. Jensen laughed also covering his face. 

“Well Kaitlyn, is it okay if I sing happy birthday to you?” Kaitlyn nodded while literally bouncing in her seat. You chuckled. “How bout everyone help me out here.” You started singing, Jensen and the crowd singing along. Jensen couldn’t believe what an angelic voice you had. After Y/N had finished singing she winked at Kaitlyn which almost looked like a gesture towards Jensen too. “Happy Birthday pretty girl.” You said smiling.

“Thank you!” Kaitlyn shouted smiling.

“Pretty and polite!” You said smiling. “That’s so adorable.” Y/N continued the event answering questions about the movie and a little about her personal life. Jensen was intrigued to find out that she was single. Y/N was a beautiful woman and couldn’t believe to hear that she was single. After the event Jensen bent down to Kaitlyn’s level and smiled.

“Ready to go meet Y/N?” Kaitlyn grinned and nodded. Jensen chuckled and took her hand and went backstage showing the security guards his and Kaitlyn’s backstage passes. The guard let them through and Y/N was standing talking to some people that looked like they worked for her. Jensen and Kaitlyn walked up to you and the other people walked away.

“Well if it isn’t the birthday girl!” You grinned and bent down to her level and Kaitlyn hugged her taken back for a second but you were happy to hug her back. She let go and you giggled as you stood back up and saw Jensen.

“Hi.” Jensen smiled nervously and you smiled back.

“Hi.”
