Happy 10th birthday son! I hope you had an amazing Christmas yesterday and that your birthday today was just as special.
I wish I was there to celebrate it with you. I wish your mom and never left giving up on our family. There's so many things that I was looking forward to doing with you once you got a little bit older. Things like scouting, going on camping trips together, fishing, hunting, playing sports and being your coach, sitting at the kitchen table together as I helped you with your homework, or a few years from now when you start getting into girls, teaching you to drive, and everything else I could have done to help prepare you for this crazy world.
You're such an amazing boy wrecker and I love you so much I'm sorry we can't be together celebrate your birthday. I hope the universe one day puts us back in touch with each other so I can tell you everyday how much I love to be your dad and I would have done anything for you.
I hope you're doing well. Hope you're learning a lot in school and paying attention. I hope you're playing lots of sports and have a lot of friends.
Just remember I may not always be there but I'll always be right there. Always trust yourself and your gut. There's an old expression show me his friends and I'll show you the man. The friends you keep in life are very important like her only hang out with friends for you lift each other up pushing each other towards success and make sure that any girl that's looking up to date you does the same. Always work hard. And remember to never lie, cheat, steal or drink
But if you must lie, lie next to & in the arms of the one you love. If you must cheat, may you cheat death because you are too kind of a soul for this Earth to lose. And if you must steal then steal away the sorrows & pain of others. And if you must drink drink in the little moments of your time on Earth that quickly passes by.
