A Little Convincing || daddy-uchiha

This had to be the longest walk of his life. He had never really been to the Uchiha compound, but he never had a real reason to go either. But, now was the time to put all of that aside and try to talk to Sasuke's father.

His future father-in-law.

He let out a deep sigh as he neared, knowing this was not going to be an easy one. Sasuke had already told him about the issues they were having and the opposition to their wedding, but he knew it would mean everything if he was there. And if Naruto had the convincing skills everyone praised him for, maybe he could get him to be part of it too. It was all for Sasuke, and he knew that it would mean the world to him.

He stepped in front of the doorway, puffing up his chest slightly as he prepared himself for what was to come. Without another moment of hesitation, he knocked on the door, waiting for an answer.

"I'm trying..." He frowned. "But no one believe me."

“Well, Fugaku-san,” Minato smiled, taking a few steps toward the man. “I’m sure we can set things right!”

Fugaku just raised a brow. "Well, Itachi and Sasuke. Some of his friends. Other people from the clan. Everyone."

Minato nodded, gulping audibly. At least his feet felt firm beneath him. 

“And you? Are you denying it?”

"Don't ask me why, woman is crazy." He sighed, shaking his head. "And now everyone is asking me the same thing about us, Minato.~"

Minato growled at Fugaku, feeling his knees weaken just the slightest bit as he backed further away from the Uchiha.“But…but…” his heart was pounding in his chest as he looked at the other man, completely confused. “Who’s asking?”
