Has the baby been keeping you up at night or did they already settle into a schedule?
“Haven wakes up often at conventionally inconvenient hours, but, seeing as I don’t need rest so long as I have power, I don’t have any problem plugging into the outlet in the nursery to make sure they get back to sleep. It’s one of the reasons I had my voicebox upgraded. You know. Lullabies...”

Mr. Vega, I heard the good news about Haven. I'm so happy that they're as healthy as can be expected and everything was fine. I merely wanted to drop off a birthday present for them and for you. It's a bit big, so they might have to grow into it, but it's one of the little spiderwolf onsies that I make for babies. Hopefully you and Kevin and Haven will like it.
Daniel’s eyes go wide and bright, a smile pulling the silicon corners of his mouth, clearly surprised and delighted by the unexpected gift.
“Thank you, Mr. Moin. It’s adorable--I’m sure Haven will love it. When they outgrow the robot onesie that Kevin got them, I’m sure they’ll wear this one all the time... and it’s surprisingly hard to find gender-neutral clothes for them.”
“Well... happy birthday, Haven. Healthy, independent OS, beautiful blue eyes and a full head of hair. They’re perfect.”
If you wanna be practical, a little extra space will be good in the long run when the baby gets older. Also, a nice backyard would be good too.
“Of course. Kevin needs a garden full of sunflowers. One for every day he makes me smile.”
Ok so the moment I heard about Kevin and Daniels baby and looked at freedomconvicted's cute picture of them I thought of the baby as lite-bright baby. You know because of Kevin's light and Daniels electronics.
