As if on cue. I was thinking of maybe going to the cemetery today. Then I got the visit in spirit instead. It's not just a pic. My father taught other kids the skills he wasn't allowed to teach his son. This guy comes around every few years. Likes to remember my father. He says I look just like him. He would know better than me. He knew my father better than I did. If my father had the chance with me, I might have had my own air conditioning company truck. It might have sat in front the house like his did. Instead, my company truck sits in front the house, quite an still. A reminder of what fatherhood really is in my community. I used to fell a bit jealous and some anger when this guy pulls up.
