Finished Squiddo’s DaD pov after finishing Zam’s vod and immediately ran to draw fanart

I love their character already she’s so cool

More thoughts under the cut:

First of all she’s so unbelievably fun and so silly,, I love badass apocalypse granny with a katana <3

Also the whole scene in the church where they were like “maybe a I would’ve stood on the altar … with someone … but I don’t remember anymore” or smth like that was heartbreaking

I did not expect to be hit with a brick after a whole bunch of silly but the brick was welcomed tbh I love the lore drop

Also I love her friendship with Zora <3

She’s so concerned for her well being and she clearly knows her well, judging by the fact she knows that she’s stronger than she seems and that she’s kinda unhinged

I absolutely love the idea of Zora wanting to kill everyone except for Squiddo lol

The besties <3

Also them slipping Zora a knife when they thought she was in danger?? Squiddo you are so kind 😭 and on top of that, even though they knew 4C was infected she still wanted to find him to keep him safe in his final moments :(

I loved all her other interactions with everyone too,,,, the ending with everyone in the plane together was also nice!!

It felt like a little moment of peace after such a lore heavy session :)

Im so excited to see more of her character if she shows up in the future :DDD

Kinda annoying how wifies has this crazy well done dynamic with spidey and people are completely ignoring it to go “oh my godddd wifies and saps needdd to interact! He could manipulate saps soo much and it’d be so toxic” um hello. He already is manipulating someone. Spidey’s not just replaceable with your whiteboy. Either post about wifies’ current story with the appreciation and respect it deserves or back off because just imagining two men interacting instead of the woman who is ALREADY THERE is in fact misogynistic.

Listen. I don’t care if saps is your favorite DaD character. Good for you. But don’t act like the story you wanna insert your man into isn’t already happening with a woman who you haven’t even given any attention to yet. Spidey’s storytelling and acting deserves its own praise before you start writing wifies and saps into the exact dynamics she’s already portraying.
