デオドラントブランドのCP「Smellcome to Manhood」の新作CM。今年カンヌの部門で受賞していた”Momsong”の続編。スプレーを使ったら可愛い恋人が出来、自分からはなれてしまったことを嫉妬のごとく嘆く母親の歌に対し、今回は父親の「クローゼットがあくし～」等々で、巣立ってくれてありがとう～との喜びの声を表現。両者の立場は全く違いますね。。

While Axe gleefully ushers you through puberty with promises of a popped cherry, Old Spice has taken another tack: a weird pair of ballads sung by parents mourning the initiation of their sons into the tall-and-freshly-showered.

"Dadsong" is a sequel to "Mom Song", where mothers stalked their puberty-past sons around town. In "Dadsong", the moms are still hanging creepily around their progeny and crying over firetruck toys, but this time you've also got the brusque interjections of fathers, who are frankly overjoyed to see their much more supple 2.0s grow up and peace out. Who knew shower gel options could be so dramatic?
