da3 speculations

VARRIC WAS NOT LOOKING AT HAWKES BODY MALE OR FEMALE HAWKE IS NOT AS SMALL AS THAT HAWKE IT VERY BUILT THE BODY WAS OBVIOUSLY A MAGE OR AN ELF YOU DONGOFFS HE CLOSED THEIR EYES TO BE RESPECTFUL TO THE DECEASED IM PRETTY SURE HE WAS JUST LOOKING FOR SOMETHING

varric is probably semi-important to the story sort of filling the same role he did last game, except without being your companion/narrating

there is obviously a lot of conflict going on with the chantry/everyone else

if they didnt exploit this and make cullen a possible companion they would be idiots like an optional companion maybe but honestly cullen is a character that has already questioned his templar beliefs before and i really want him to be a character that is shaped by your actions and decides what the believes in depending on what you do during the game

the inquisitor is tasked by the chantry to end their conflicts with the rival groups the groups obviously being 1. wardens (the warden symbol was shown during a fight) 2. elves (cassandra stabbed a map of orlais/the dales) 3. mages (dragon age 2 uprising)

the old god baby is heavily involved obviously what the fuck morrigan was narrating and the quote "i am closer to this war than you could ever imagine" its obviously her kid who possessed an old god

which leads me to believe its your job to perform an origins like task and create an army to fight the new "archdemon"

which also spawned the new demon

and has green fire

and basically fucks a lot of shit up

again like origins, some companions will probably be recruited through storyline quests, like dorian and cullen (the morrigan and alistair to your group) dorian, probably there before the conflict to ask for help with repairing his homeland of tevinter (his character description, remember?) and cullen there as a messanger of the chantry telling you what your job was when the first shit goes down

companions like the iron bull and cole seem to be zevran/leliana/sten companions where after completing a certain amount of the main quest you are given a chance to recruit them

other companions will be probably recruited through side quests like da2, such as sera (serah??) like fenris, where she asks for help on one of her underground quests, or i could be wrong and as inquisitor shes brought in and u well intquistize her

all companion stuff is speculation based on the past information we were given a while ago i could be completely off (except for cullen if hes not a companion then its stupid it doesnt even matter if you hate him he is honestly such a good plot piece)

flemeth will probably be involved because of morrigan and also her beautiful quotes from da2 and before she turned into a dragon

hawke will be involved probably as flemeth hinted at them being there when the world began to crumble, but that was probably just because if hawke had never fled to kirkwall, then the mage/templar conflict wouldnt have started, which probably wouldnt have led to the warden/templar conflict (harbouring mages as wardens) and the elves/templar conflict probably started as the elves tried to revolt amidst the chaos

hawke might not be involved but they did say if you imported

the warden will not be heavily involved as its easier to involve a character with a voice actor than one without

but theyll probably be mentioned and seen several times

hawke will probably be with varric when you first meet them, and quite likely their li (EVERYONE EXCEPT FOR ______ (FENRIS))

the warden will probably be alone depending on their ending and if they survived obviously because its explained how all endings basically leaded to the warden and their li leaving each other due to circumstances (sans alistair/queen)

dlcs will probably not have too great of an affect on the game, expect maybe witch hunt

and u know sebastians, hell probably be a little tip of the hat if you bought it before

we know anders is not involved if he died, even if he was the asshole who started it all

cassandra will probably start as the quest giver until the real chaos starts and your standing with the templars/chantry changes

the possible choices for a final army will probably include

mages or templars, saving the mages and betraying the templars. gaining magic to your army, or gathering the templar army that was in charge of taking down mages and gathering more strength

wardens or templars, helping the wardens and betraying the templars, gathering more varied skilled in the army, or taking the templars that were in charge of taking down the wardens and adding them to your army

elves or templars, helping the elves and gaining more archery/range, or you know what im going to say

companions will obviously have different views on different things

companions we might have/heard concepts of

cullen would probably feed off whatever you did considering his mixed reviews/feelings

dorian would prefer the mages or actually maybe templars because of his strong belief in order

cole will most definitely be mages/wardens/elves as i dont pin him as respecting the templars

sera wont care as long as you dont jeopordize her underground rouge group

the iron bull might be like a varric where hes like whatever u do bud bud but i sort of lean towards mages/elves/wardens idk

leading the world to chaos would probably be story related and more like darker entities. i dont think what army you raise will affect it

you can probably side with flemeth or morrigan/god Diaper Baby which determines the fate of the world

the armies will probably just affect the last battle/epilogue

i really think flemeth is going to be the order side of things as flemeth is very strict on her beliefs and respect of the world

from what weve seen in dragon age 2 she is not trying to destroy the world she wants it to stay and watch what grows from it

the God Diaper baby is a different story

its probably morrigans final Fuck You

or maybe shes actually a good person and is just being a flemeth and watching what goes down

if u slept with morrigan there will probably be a reference to it somewhere
