He had been struck down during battle and while flying back to Dragonstone, he stopped at an inn. He was weary, in pain, and could feel his vision beginning to darken. HE could have made it back to Dragonstone conscious, perhaps.

Laying on the makeshift table, he let the inn keeper tend to his wounds. He didnt realize how much blood he had truly lost until he saw her face. Perhaps he was in worse shape than he thought.

War was a bloody thing.

He was a little surprised by her boldness. When he first met the woman before him, she appeared as soft as snow. Gentle. The woman now in his arms? Anything but.

Well this was welcomed.

His arms moved to roughly tangle around her slim frame. One hand grabbing her ass as the other moved up her shoulders. He needed her closer, so much closer.

Backing them up against the wall, he let go. A deep moan slipped from his chest as his hands continued to roam her curves appreciatively. His mouth tasting her, devouring her.

His hand from her hips began to gather the fabric of her gown. He needed her closer.

He sat back, watching. His eyes never wavering as he watched the woman before him declare her intentions. He had to admit, there was a part of him that admired her, her fire.

"Then take it." He said simply, shifting to prop long, lean legs on the table before him.

"If its yours, take it." He reiterated, matter of fact.

"Is that so..." Daemon said softly, watching the fire in the hearth burn brightly.

His hand rested against the mantle as his mind reeled, pulled from his thoughts to the conversation being had.

"And what is in it for you?"

"Are you sure you want to know?" He replied back, exhaustion clear on his face as he rubbed his temples. It had been a long night and the last thing he wanted to do was relive the horrors.

He stayed where he was, leaning against the old pillar, looking out to the falls. A cool fall breeze playing games with his unbound hair. He was sure he knew who had been causing the disruption in Mirkwood but it was nice to know perhaps their nefarious acts were not so common that everyone knew.

"I was tasked to deal with this and i will." He replied as he turned to face her.

"You dont need to worry."

Anger burned in his eyes as he turned to see who had dared to place their hand on his arm, who had dared to stop him. The man before him had dared to defy him and actions do have consequences...

"Laena?" He asked in confusion as her face registered through his red tinted gaze.

Why was she here?

He had paced the halls for over an hour, unable to sleep. The moon was high and he knew he should be in bed but he just... couldnt.

He thought he was alone but when he turned around to see Rhaena there, watching him, he let out a sigh.

"Did i wake you?" He asked, sadness in his tone.
