Get ready, tabletop nerds, we're crossing some streams. Today marks the first in a series of Warhammer 40K inspired conversions!
Gorefather and Gorechild
Melee Weapon, Twin-Axes, Artifact
(Requires Attunement)
Relics of reverence to the World Eaters separated in times past, the axes once belonged to the Primarch Angron.
Damage: 2d6
Damage Type: Slashing
Modifiers: Attacks +3, Damage +3
Properties: Heavy, Two-Handed
Mica-Dragon Teeth: The blades of these weapons are composed of rows of spinning dragon’s teeth. Attacks made with these weapons ignore 2 points of the target’s AC. Additionally, creatures damaged by this weapon take half as much Slashing Damage again at the start of their next turn.
Armatura’s Lesson: These weapons deal maximum damage to nonliving objects and structures, and grant advantage on Athletics checks made while climbing.
Red Angel’s Arms: These axes make you incredibly intimidating to behold. While attuned to these weapons, you have advantage on Intimidation checks. Additionally, when you ready your weapons for the first time in combat, each creature you choose that can see you must succeed a DC 16 Wisdom Saving Throw or become frightened of you for the next hour.
Butcher’s Nails: When you roll initiative, for the next hour, your Strength Score increases by 1 each time a creature within 30 feet fails an Intelligence, Wisdom, or Charisma Saving Throw, to a maximum of 30 Strength.
Full disclosure, I kinda wanted to make a Butcher's Nails feat, but since I probably won't make another particularly Angron-adjacent build, I opted to just tack them on to these.
