Daemonism Flag

Meaning under cut

Symbol:

Four points representing the most common settled form types: Analytic, Symbolic, Pullman, and Personal.

Inner ring represents unsettled daemons.

"æ" symbol represents the daemian community and the infinite bond between person and daemon.

Combined, the design is meant to look like a compass, in honor of the alethiometer.

Colors:

The Blue stripe represents the Northern Lights/Golden Compass and La Belle Sauvage

The Red stripe represents the Subtle Knife and the Secret Commonwealth

The Gold stripe represents the Amber Spyglass and the Rose Field

I'm not usually into flag making, and I know not everyone wants a flag in the community. But I figured a little more whimsy never hurt. There is another flag or two that exist already, but I wanted to try my hand at one too. I'm rather pleased with it. I hope some of you may like it too!

Daemons are not splinters. When you look closer at a piece of wood, they are the grains that twist and run together. They bind the wood together so it can be strong and stable thanks to its support. It also gives the wood its distinctive character. They may one day splinter off and become their own thing, but the rest of the grain remains exactly where it was.
