I don't know much about Daenhi but I'm curious about the dynamic you mentioned with Ryan 👉👈
uh uhm where do I even start 🧘
Daenhi awakened in 1330 AE, during season 4, with everything kind of going to shit with the fight against Kralkatorrik, the Vigirl/ Pact would just recruit anyone they could get their hands on for the final push, and Daen having shown proficiency with healing magic in the sword time since she'd awakened, was prime fodder candidate for the front lines. even if she had no real combat experience
in regards to Ryan, despite Daen having seen a lot of her memories through the Dream, especially the fights against the dragons, she still looks up to Ryan, both figuratively and literally, as that seemingly untouchable legend that you only catch glimpses of between the press of bodies in the middle of combat. Adding to that is the fact that Ryan's connection to the Dream has been severed due to her death so she's like a blindspot in Daen's mind, despite looking directly at her
the two have technically only interacted directly once, when Daen was sent to rely a message/report, only for Ryan to rush off to spearhead the next attack
besides that there's some, ironic? points to them like:
ryan having died to fire > daen using water to heal people/ fire to kill their enemies
ryan always at the front, leading, and essentially wrecking everything in her wake in her attempts to defeat the dragons/ whomever > daen in the back picking up the pieces (and people)
the fact that their armor is similar but in contrasting color schemes
(which was unintentional btw but, I'm taking it)

she awoke in 1332 AE aka during lw4 events, she didn't even get a Wyld Hunt but after she trained for a while in the Grove and Caledon Forest and showed proficiency both in combat and healing, she got yoinked out of the Grove and airdropped in Dragonfall like here's an axe baby go fight an Elden Dragon 🪓👶
the upside of getting thrown as fodder at a dragon the size of an island is that she was also given a Jackal to traverse with with and she got to keep it afterwards. She named him Aeron and he’s every bit the opposite of her personality, where she’s reserved and distant, he’s full of energy and very social, walking up to anybody for treats and pets (even if she’s on him, he’s not very good at commands)
and also haven’t drawn her yet but this is she
