RIP to the hundreds of people killed in the Dier ez-Zor massacre in Syria.
This means two potential US cities are listed as their top targets by Daesh. Washington DC, and New York City. Which makes a lot of sense. Those would be the easiest, and most logical places to target in the US. However, it also means that they are moving towards attacking the US next, as opposed to their other stated potentials. Initially, they said DC, Rome and London were up next. But now they’re releasing footage of NYC. Which is probably an attempt to confuse us, and it either means the US is up next or something else entirely.
I’m going to guess it’s because of our response to the Paris attacks, rather than Italy or England’s response (which tbh, I haven’t heard much about, I honestly don’t know either one of their involvements in this). France responded the most, obviously. But the US responded very strongly as well, or maybe it’s just that I am in the US, so I end up reading articles about the US response more. I don’t know.
Either way, I think the US is the next target.
Which is going to suck.
I don’t even know how to properly respond to this.
Daesh (ISIS) has released a video of images of NYC, bombs being prepared, and set it to music, as it’s latest threat against New York City.
