Cat from The Elder Scrolls II: Daggerfall
It took like 40 mins but I made it out of the first dungeon. I went to the first town I saw and was immediately arrested for vagrancy
A Dance in Fire
One thing I love about "The Elder Scrolls" series is how in depth they are. A huge part about that is that in-game books are filled, and fully readable. Some books come in volumes to create a story. The best aspects of the in-game lore comes from these.
If you havent read any of these In-Game, I suggest one in particular; "A Dance in Fire" It is beautifully written for an in-game short story and began my love and obsession with "Wood Elves" be it in TES, D&D, Warhammer, or any other Elf-based Fantasy. I love the savage, wild cousins of the High Elves.

10 things I want to see in the next Elder Scrolls.
I've been playing the Elder Scrolls series since Morrowind. Granted, I didn't really know what I was doing. I was about 14 at the time and didn't appreciate Role Playing games for what they were. I just loaded up a bunch of cheat codes and went and killed a bunch of NPCs. It was fun for a while, but as the newer games came out I always felt like some of the depth was leaving the franchise. I think it advantageous to point out what I would like to play in the future, if only for me to read and many pass on to some future modders.
Morrowind has a great level of customize for your character in terms of gear, you could mix and match gear down to which glove you wear on which hand, use different weapons like throwing daggers, crossbows. I've missed this greatly ever sense it has slowly been phased out since Oblivion.
I want my own boat. (I'm on a boat!). Specifically, I want a ship. I've wanted to captain a ship in the elder scrolls games ever since I walked off the one you start the game on in Morrowind. I want to hire a crew, go from port to port trading, or play pirate and raid different cities. I never really saw any mods that allowed for this, though a few did come close.
I wouldn't mind being a mayor of my own village. Morrowind had something like this in their bloodmoon expansion (side note, whatever happened to the expansion? #DLCkilledtheexpansionstar), where you took ownership of a mining colony. It was fun, and something like it should make a return.
I would like all of Tamriel opened to me. Invisible walls and mildly clever terrain is annoying.
Playable instruments. A mod for Skyrim added these and it's wonderful. I'm able to travel from town to town, staying at inns and showing up the local bard. Why this wasn't included in Skyrim to begin with while you could join the Bard's college, I will never known. I just wish I had a minigame aspect to it that would let me play specific notes and work on my own songs. Then finally Tamriel would get to experience the awesome that is Better Days by The Dirges.
Better guild management. For two TES games now, I've risen to the head of every guild available to me to join (except for Dark Brotherhood) and I never really felt like I was the head of anything. If anything, I felt more like an assistant to members I was allegedly the boss of.
Mounted Combat. Dragons included in that. A recent video by Bethesda proved that they do can do that.
More in-depth political system. It'd be nice to be able to influence policy. Say, I'm a hero who just saved the land. Perhaps I am appointed an adviser to a King or something. A political debate could shift the entire political landscape. Or start a war. And maybe lose that war. The possibilities are endless.
Better followers. Why join a guild when I could eventually start my own from my own army of hirelings/minions?
I want to bake my own sweet rolls. Tired of mine getting stolen.
So, as far as I have surmised...
Nords = Vikings
Imperials = Roman
Bretons = French
Redguards = ?
Argonians = Aztec/Inca/Mayans
Khajiit = Middle East/Indian
Dunmer = ?
Bosmer = Native American/Celtic
Altmer = European
I'm probably way off, and the people who actually know this stuff will kill me...
