◤ “Awkward…” Dahyun laughed sheepishly while reaching one of her hands up to rub the nape of her neck, physical discomfort as clear as day all over her demeanor. Her posture remained rigid, the distance that separated her and the dog seeming like it wouldn’t be shortening in length anytime soon. “Unnie, this is not what I meant by ‘I wish I wasn’t afraid of dogs’!”
From the moment she spotted the dog, Hyolyn lowered her body more and more, hand stretched out in an attempt to lure the puppy over. The pet wasn’t too small nor was he too big though she was quite certain the amount of fur on his body was what made him seem bigger. It didn’t matter though—Hyolyn was that person: the one willing to drop any task at hand to go pet that dog, that cat, any animal really. Dahyun’s words didn’t seem to process in her mind soon enough, perhaps because she was so keen on trying to have the puppy move a little closer rather than him him regard her with weariness. “He’s so small though!” she defended, looking up and over her shoulder a little towards the younger woman. “He's runty, extra furry and basically screams “pet me” from his looks alone.” Her last few words were a mumble, gaze cast back to said pet which didn’t seem to move any closer from where he sat, too busy inspecting the two given he didn’t seem to have lost interest just yet—and that was always a good sign in Hyolyn’s books.
