Background (Minimum of 5 sentences.): Thaze was a baseborn, bastard child to a woman who got a little too involved with someone of a much higher rank. She thought the child would bring her into wealth, but Thaze’s father denied them entirely. She grew to hate the child who pushed her further down into poverty. Before he was old enough to take off on his own she would beat him and try to push him away herself. She would brand him with a fire poker, leaving blister after blister on delicate skin. He learned to dress his own wounds and bandaged them even after they healed out of shame. The burns marred his skin to such an extent that they never really went away.
Finally, at ten years old he didn’t come home. He ran with the other wayward kids and survived by pickpocketing what he needed to get by. It wasn’t a glamorous life but it was the life he had. Some things happened that he can’t take back, but he can’t let himself forget those kids he knew and those he hurt back then.
His travels started when he was fifteen as he felt like the place he was no longer was welcoming or had anything left to offer him. He made his mark quickly through sheer tenacity. He’d devote hours upon hours without break to master his skills with his blade and his ability. However, rarely would he take up jobs from others for the glory… No… It was all about the cash. Even if the reason wasn’t pure, he did make a name from his town to town as he went. For now he’s decided to settle in Dahlthir. If only a little, a place to call home offers peace.
General Powers/Abilities/Unusual Traits Description (Describe your character’s powers here. Some questions to think about are: What can they do? What is the range and the limit of their powers? How do they use their powers during an ordinary day?): Thaze’s biggest power is indomitable strength and his finesse with his weapon. While he can glitter up his weapon with elemental attributes as well, he prefers sheer force. He knows a few spells but the only advanced ones he knows are ones of a darker shade. Aside from casual tiffs and getting around easier, Thaze uses his power to a minimum to stay rested.
Specific Powers/Abilities/Traits of Note (Can they turn people into animals? Can they destroy the moon? Please list and describe here the powers you specifically would like us to know.): Thaze has been known to short range teleport by use of shadows and using blending himself into shadows in general. He can, and does, speak to spirits on occasion and doesn’t realize whether he’s not talking to living person at times.
Extra (Anything you’d like say!): I read a dictionary to find words to describe this spicy boy. Please enjoy my spicy rotten boy.

Faceclaim(s) & Series: Hans Christian Anderson | Fate Series
Character Name: Leviathan
Housing: Personal housing
Age: 500.
Level: 5
Appearance:
Leviathan is a sea serpent who retains the form of a 13 year old boy. His human body is fragile but lithe. He has azure colored hair and celtic blue eyes. Up close, his eyes appear to glister in the same way as a certain peaceful sea he once settled in years ago. When he’s touched by water, shimmering pale blue scales will replace only the wet human skin. It is, unfortunately, something Leviathan can’t control. But at the very least, no matter how many scales spread across his human flesh, being touched by water won’t revert him back to his true form unless he wishes to. His true form is snake-like and at length, over 65 feet long. His scales, which dare one call pretty, are unique as they appear pale blue but reflect other shades of blue at different angles. His naturally shimmering scales make it seem like his body is surrounded by a thin layer of white light.

—- How long have they been part of the Guild: –
‘The storm never stops. The winds ruthlessly rock your ship back and forth in the same spot, never letting you move on as it chips away from your ship. And even if you domanage to pull away, you’ll either get caught by the endless number of whirlpools or eaten by Squall’s boss.
The Kraken’
–So goes the rumor of the treacherous and merciless ocean, Squall.
It’s a story which gives the cowardly a good scare and a dream to the young and the bold adventurers of the sea. But only the seasoned adventurers know that the tale doesn’t end there. Beneath the raging stormy waters of Squall, and even further below the abysmal sea where the Kraken’s den most certainly lies, dwells the sea serpents.
The discovery of the sea serpents in Squall happened by chance. A large ship captained by a man and his wife decide to put themselves to the test, to be the first to venture through Squall and it’s harsh endless storms and field of whirlpools and all other vicious perils crafted by the waters. The captains and their crew were famous for overcoming challenges like this, having returned two months prior from a deadly trip to a cursed island with a large heap of treasure after solving the island’s greatest riddle behind its curse. And after hearing about Squall, they wanted to ‘solve’ it as well by figuring out a way to cross its waters. The beginning of their journey past Squall was rough, but soon enough the unbeatable challengers were bearing with the storm with ease and had overcome the winds that pulled their ship into it’s own rhythm after a few days. With the winds conquered, the challengers ship turned left and right and around the whirlpools. Not once did the infamous Kraken appear. It seemed like an easy win at that point. Could the story of Squall be nothing else but an exaggerated tale once told by inexperienced adventurers? As the crew merrily celebrated an early victory, the captains couldn’t bring themselves to believe all was truly over in this adventure of theirs. It couldn’t have been, not when the two of them knew fully well that the adventures they chose together were always more dangerous and thrilling than this. And then he appeared. No one could believe what they saw but there was no denying the large beast who had risen from the sea right by the port of their ship and dove back into the waters from the starboard. Yes, denying the sight of the large and endlessly long body arched right above their ship would’ve been impossible for any crew member that survived afterward. Petrified by the beast, no one noticed the second and third beast appear until the third beast actively struck their ship. The ship rocked dangerously as large tentacles grasped the vessel by its main deck and began to crush it in its hold. Of the three beasts that’d appeared, two were the same but this one had been the Kraken finally making its long expected appearance. With its appearance, the ship didn’t even last for 5 minutes and there was no hope for the crew members anymore. It is said they were all immediately swallowed up by the sea and drowned.
Except for two. The captains lived on only because as they fell into the water together hand in hand, they were swept up by the claws of the first beast. It was then that the two of them fainted as they could hardly keep up with the events they and their crew had been dragged into. But the last thing one of the two noticed before they went unconscious was the beautiful pale blue scales of the large snake-like beast. She whispered the name ‘Leviathan’ and closed her eyes.
—–
What lies beyond Squall is a sea where the waves are gentle and as the sun rises and falls, the waters look as though they are sparkling. If Squall is treacherous and ugly then this could be called wondrous and beautiful.
When the woman finally regained consciousness, she found her and her husband stranded on a large rock in the middle of the beautiful sea, and almost fainted once more at the sight of the large beast in front of them. The woman gasped the name, ‘Leviathan’, once more and as if she believed ‘Leviathan’ would speak back to her, she carefully asked the beast ‘Is that who you are?’.
Leviathan. A sea serpent, sometimes referred to as a wingless dragon, that ruled the sea unlike the winged dragons who ruled the skies. Many knew Leviathan as a sea creature who caused destruction wherever it appeared but because no one has ever seen such a beast before, they all believed the creature’s existence was a myth.
Yet the awestruck woman called this beast ‘Leviathan’ not because she believed in the infamous story, but because she was aware of a different story of Leviathan that very few knew.
Leviathan. A sea serpent with beautiful scales, so pale at first glance but so beautiful up close when your eyes could see each scale reflect a different shade of the ocean’s color. It was as though Leviathan was the entity of all the different seas in the world. The graceful beast would bring about great fortune, perhaps even the blessing of the sea, wherever it appeared.
Unfortunately, the woman received no answer. Instead the sea serpent peered at her and then dove back into the water. Later on, her husband would stir awake and the woman would tell him of what she saw. The two would come to the decision that in order to respect the fortune Leviathan had graced upon them, their journey at sea would end here. They would tell only trusted adventurers of the beasts they saw, but only few would know one of the beasts had been called ‘Leviathan’.
—–
Leviathan?
The nameless wingless beast who understood human dialect was confused.
Who is Leviathan? It couldn’t have been him, a nameless sea serpent.
The wingless beast who had no method of responding to the human retreated into the foreign waters.
—–
The beast without a name recalled the events that’d taken place. An exchange gone wrong. A responsibility he didn’t want being shoved into his direction. ‘The clan needs a new leader’, they’d said, but what’s a nameless serpent like him to do about that? Shouldn’t they elect a serpent with more status? –Of course not. To the sea serpents, names and status were already too much of a burden. What sea serpent with a name and status would want to direct a bunch of other sea serpents? A sea serpent with a name and status couldn’t be bothered. So why then do the sea serpent even need a leader? Order. Because of order. The sea serpents were strange creatures that needed to believe a system existed between each of them. Yet the ones with a name couldn’t be bothered to take that responsibility themselves for some reason.
So the duties were turned down by many for the same exact reason until finally, the wingless beast was asked. He declined at first but because he was nameless and the sea serpents were growing antsy, they attempted to force the responsibilities onto him anyway. But before any sort of ritual could begin, the wingless beast fled, awakening the Kraken as he was chased by but one single sea serpent ( what lazy creatures the sea serpents were ). He didn’t know why he plucked the two humans and took off. Perhaps it was because despite how desperate he was to escape, he pitied the humans who had to suffer. Whatever reason it was, it mattered little to him for the next mere 13 years of dwelling deep below the foreign sea that calmed his nerves.
—–
Eventually, the wingless beast grew tired of dwelling on the ocean floor of this beautiful sea. He remembered the sky he saw 13 years ago. How marvelous it’d been! He had to see it again. Surely it would be fine. Feeling courageous ( as if any sea serpent would come looking for him, right? ), the sea serpent swam up with little concern of where he would rise from so long as he was able to see that magnificent blue sky again.
When the beast had risen up to see the sky, he heard the sound of a gasp and a name. ‘Leviathan’, the human child said in awe. The beast quickly turned to face the human child who looked up at him with fascination. That name again. Why is a nameless serpent like him being called such a mystifying name by yet another human? Would he know if he asked? He can’t the way he is now. The serpent’s jaw opened. Words. A voice. He desired those more than anything else at that moment. But could it be granted to a nameless wingless beast? He’d seen named sea serpents grow bored and decide they would venture the lands with the humans but never before had a nameless done the same.
He grew frustrated. He had to try it anyway.
‘A voice. A body. Give it to me.’ The serpent ceased any useless thoughts as he tried to fulfill his desire to speak the same way as this human child. To stand the same way as this human child.
The sea serpent succeeded, and his ethereal snake-like body was transformed into that of young boy who looked as though he was the entity of the sea with his blue hair and eyes, and arms and legs marked with scales that seemed to reflect many different shades of blue. The human child continued to stare in awe at what he’d seen. But the moment hardly lasted and what happened right after was almost comical: the human had suddenly looked away, embarrassed, while the naked serpent found that they could hardly stand on their own two human legs and toppled over with a yelp.
Seeing the serpent fall onto his knees, the human child seemed to have forgotten about their embarrassment and knelt down quickly by the serpent’s side. Hesitantly, they put a hand on the serpent’s now human shoulder. They asked the serpent if they were okay, and once more they referred to the serpent by the name ‘Leviathan’.
The serpent was frustrated again – he couldn’t stand properly and this human had called him Leviathan yet another time. “I do not have a name.” The sea serpent snapped. His first words. “Yes you do,” the boy carefully replied “you’re name is Leviathan.”
—–
The human child ended up having to carry the sea serpent back with him to his ‘summer home’ ( the wingless beast hadn’t the slightest idea why humans lived in more than one home ). The human chatted away, hardly leaving any room for the wingless beast to feel at least a little embarrassed about having to be carried.
“I can’t believe I’m meeting Leviathan! You’re scales are so pretty! Just like the story my mom told me! Oh but it looks like they’re fading away. Is that supposed to happen? Do you need to be in water? Wouldn’t that make you like a… a mermaid! But without the tail!”
No. No actually everything coming out of this child’s mouth was embarrassing to hear.
When the two arrived, the serpent was a little startled to see that the human child’s parents were the very same humans the sea serpent had ‘saved’ on a whim 13 years ago. But he just barely catches the shocked expression on the two humans faces because he was too busy struggling out of the child’s grasp after he heard the child say “Mom look I found Leviathan! I’m gonna go dump him in the tub first and then I’ll tell you what happened!”. ( Being dropped in a tub full of water wasn’t a very fun experience. )
Afterward, when the child felt he had shared enough to his parents who readily believed everything he saw based on the mother’s own experience, the humans went to go see the sea serpent still left (locked) in the bathroom. What they saw was the sea serpent’s human body covered head to toe in those wondrous scales. The boy was the only one who readily approached the sea serpent, enchanted once more with those scales of all blue. The boy introduced himself and his family right there – the boy’s name was Squall, the father’s was Hector, the mother’s was Joan, and Squall happily added “And you are Leviathan!”
Squall was… Persistent. He would always stay by the sea serpent’s side and talk for a long time, whether the serpent was stuck in the bathroom or sitting somewhere with his feet submerged in a bucket of water. For some reason, Squall thought the sea serpent needed to constantly be in water. The wingless beast thought it was a bit of a pain.
“Stop. It’s fine. I don’t need water all the time when I’m like this. Just what do you take me for? A fish?”
The boy almost dropped the bucket of water he was holding. He looked at the serpent with pure joy and blurted out, “That’s– That’s the second thing you’ve ever said to me!”
And from then on, Squall began to ask the sea serpent questions, hoping to hear the sea serpent’s voice again and again.
“Where did you come from?” “How come you can turn human? And you look like you’re my age! But shorter. Sorry, sorry, don’t get mad– But hey, does that mean you’re gonna get older?” “Leviathan, has anyone ever told you you’re scales are pretty? Huh? What’s wrong? Hey, why are you hiding? It’s true!”
But there was one question that stuck out the most.
“Leviathan, don’t you ever want to go back to the sea? Wait that came out wrong– Hey, wait, don’t look like that. I didn’t mean it like that. I just wanted to ask. How come you’ve stuck around for so long? Summer’s already almost over.”
Why did the serpent stick around in this human form of his? Originally, the serpent meant to ask Squall why he called him ‘Leviathan’, but instead the serpent’s gotten all caught up in this boy’s pace so much that he responded to the name ‘Leviathan’ without any hesitation or confusion as if it were truly his own. But that isn’t right. A nameless beast just doesn’t getused to being called a name. It had to be bestowed onto him.
“I don’t have a name, you know.”
“You don’t have a… Yes you do. It’s Leviathan, isn’t it?”
That answer again. How frustrating.
“Then, where did the name ‘Leviathan’ come from?”
“A story. It’s about a sea serpent with scales just like yours.”
“And so you thought I was Leviathan just because of that?”
“Well, yeah. I mean, you really do match up with the story.”
“Ridiculous. That story doesn’t have anything to do with me. I don’t have a name.”
“You’re saying that again? Fine then how about this– If you really aren’t Leviathan, then why don’t you become Leviathan? It should be easy.”
“…”
“From now on, you’re name is ‘Leviathan’. Now you can’t say you don’t have a name anymore”
What a simple child, but for some reason ‘Leviathan’ didn’t mind that.
And so Leviathan continued to live with this human family even after summer passed. Every once in a while, Leviathan went to the sea but never for very long. Nonetheless, sightings of his presence spread, and if anyone knew his name was Leviathan, it was because of Squall who spread the kinder ‘story of Leviathan’ he faithfully believed in since childhood.
Roughly 5 years later, Squall and Leviathan part ways with Joan and Hector, and move together in Dahltir. Leviathan sometimes disappears from town to visit the sea whenever Squall (that adventure loving fool who decided to join the guild) takes on a quest, but it wouldn’t be unusual to find Leviathan in Antheia’s Spring or wandering around the outskirts of town.
General Powers/Abilities/Unusual Traits Description:
No longer a nameless sea serpent, the water faithfully acts to his bidding when he is in his true form. He can manipulate torrents of water, disrupt the ocean waves and cause whirlpools and unforgiving tsunamis, and even raise the sea to create his own chamber of water should he ever need to rise from the water. Though wingless, he can levitate and take to the skies for a while but he only ever does so if the sea waits for him directly below.
In his human form, he can beckon any traces of nearby sources of water and manipulate them however he wishes to. When he’s bored, he likes to levitate a short thin stream of water and spin it around lazily with his finger.
Specific Powers/Abilities/Traits of Note
He can use water to heal wounds
Can purify water with a mere touch
His human form can breathe under water
Extra:
Leviathan has been in his human form for about 5 years but still has the body of a 13 year old. Apparently, his body ages at an extremely slow pace.
Welcome to Dahlthir, Azura! Your application for Atuona has been approved. You’ll have 5 days to turn in your blog to the masterlist. If you need more time, you can send us a message!
The character portion of the application can be found under the cut. She’s gone through so much to acquire her powers and even then those powers weren’t the ones she really sought after. It’s such a sad story but I’m glad she was able to one way or another escape from that organization! I hope Dahlthir can treat her well enough!
Faceclaim(s) & Series: Black Rock Shooter from “black rock shooter”
Character Name: Atuona (Like precious metal, Goes by: Aton)
Housing: Guild housing
Age: 18?
Level: (Intended to be) 4
Appearance :
Her hair is black as if like the obsidian hidden deep underground and feels exactly like the hard to obtain minerals would feel, though it is close to impossible to run your hand though the hair it seems rather well kempt and flows exactly like normal hair. The next thing to notice about the odd girl would be her eyes which seem to act in a rather odd way, while their original color is blue her left eye tends to give off two different radiances a blue radiances which seems to mean calm, level headed, thinking, kindness, or pity depending on the situation, and purple radiance which seems to give off the feeling as if she is annoyed, angry, desperate, in despair, or she just gone completely insane. (these radiances are not accurate guides to judge her mood) Moving down starts her wardrobe starting with her favorite overcoat though this may not seem like much, but the coat is actually made from a very flexible but very durable metal this meaning she can sometimes stretch the coat to cover her exposed mid-area for a period of time before it returns to normal shape. The coat has a simple hood on it this is actually just made from cloth and used to keep her from being blinded by the sun is it’s most common use. Aton leaves most of her body exposed if she must be completely honest it is only because “I’d burn up in clothes made only of metal” so because of this small fact she would rather have more exposed with her mutations guarding her. Moving on and skipping the piece of cloth covering her chest, since there isn’t anything special about it, we get to her black shorts which, like her chest piece, is only made of cloth though the belt is made of metal and designed to hold different types of vials and components.
On Aton’s left wrist is a bracelet made of metal with various setting on it, this is the device that deploys her weapon in various forms, when the weapons form the take up the room from the bend of her arm past the fingertips for extended reach. On her left arm is a tattoo of a blue flame trail leading to her upper back that circles down around her stomach and back to her lower which then curves up to the mid back into an explosion like pattern as if it was a firework going off. Her right arm and the lower parts of her legs are both covered in both scars and burn marks fighting with such unpredictable equipment can take it’s toll on you if you aren't careful. Covering her feet are the sturdy black leather boots that have gotten her from place to place and never given out on her even once, some expertly made shoes indeed! On her left hand lays a ring that is actually missing a gemstone, this ring had no beneficial effect on her nor does it have negative effect other than making her feel bad she lost the pretty gem. Aton doesn’t wear makeup, her skin is mostly made of certain materials and using her ability she is able to shape her appearance as she wishes, though the only things she can not change is her build, that will develop over time, she had tested. Around her neck is a necklace that was given to her by someone at her home old home, because of her past her time before she was like this is fuzzy so she can’t remember who.
Are they a part of the Adventurer’s Guild?: Recruit
—- How long have they been part of the Guild: 1 week
Warnings: Blood and gore, death, human experimentation, Needles, Kidnapping
Personality (Please list 3 positive and 3 negative traits. Can simply be bullet points or can be expanded!):
+Kind: Aton is a very kind person, despite what she has been through helping others, she sees her helping others as making a difference in the world and when she set out on her original journey it was her goal from the start.
+Natural guard: Aton has a knack for standing around and looking at least a little intimidating, this help when people need a bit of protection, she often get’s offered jobs as a bodyguard for a short while to keep attackers away when transporting personnel.
+Cheery outlook: Aton will normally try to cheer people up if they aren’t feeling in the best of moods, she starts of course by complimenting them, but in the end she ends up sharing a phrase she lives her life by “Everything will be fine if you can just smile”
+Beautiful singing voice: Though Aton doesn’t sing very often because she is actually rather shy when it comes to her singing, she does sometimes sing to herself on missions and since joining the guild it is more than likely people may find out about her small habit.
+Honest: Aton knows she messes up a lot, though unlike some others, Aton will admit out right when something was her fault or she failed at an intended mission, she fears the consequences, but fears the ones for lying even more.
-Too paranoid: Due to her past Aton often stayes up much later than most of the other recruits she says this is because that when they are asleep they are vulnerable to attacks by evil spirits that cause bad dreams and torture those who they inflict, often times she catches up on sleep once one person wakes up.
-Too protective: Once Aton makes a friend she is prepared to sacrifice literally anything to save them if the situation requires her to do so, she will literally waste away if someone allows her too just to protect someone else.
-Bad judge of character: Aton is rather foolish and because of this she often tends to get near and close to people she shouldn’t even talk to, this was proven because of how she is now, Aton tends to get mixed up in the business of some villain and paying the price for the trouble they make, she just doesn’t know any better.
-Forgetful: Aton, at times, can forget the most important things in the worst moments she could forget them ranging from weaknesses of monsters, to her own purse when she goes out to purchase food, normally she will tell someone what she plans to do so they can make sure she has everything before leaving.
-Emotional- Though Aton tends to present her, sometimes as a literal, rock with no emotions she can actually be easily upset at times especially on days of great stress where only bad things have occurred to her
-Bad with time: Aton is horrible at telling time so she normally tells people to do things certain positions of the sun, though if someone tells her to wait a few minutes she will literally stand there and wait until they call her again because she can’t measure time.
Background (Minimum of 5 sentences.):
Aton was adopted into a happy family with an older brother and two loving parents in a small farm village that in this time has ceased to exist, but going back before that point is where we begin Aton’s journey and troubles. From a young age Aton was taught that helping others was a great deal to the world no matter how little the act was or how unnecessary the act may seem, she spent her childhood doing chores and tasks for the people of the small town. Around the age of eight Aton and her family moved away from the village to a better land that yielded more varieties of crops helping out and taking up travelers on the way. Though not everything was nice and peachy life is filled with many colors and worst of all is red, Aton hated the sight of the color red she hated wounds, she hated seeing her loved ones hurt though when the bandits attack there was nothing she could do, but hide and wait. Aton held her breath while she and her older brother hid while her parents dealt with the bandits after a few screams some laughs and the sound of trotting horses they were gone, they had taken half of the supplies the family brought with them, but there were only a few days left until they reached the new town. No one told her, but one of Aton’s mothers was injured in the confrontation and with the medicine gone well…the end result should be obvious after awhile, upon arriving in the town Aton’s mother fell ill and immediately Aton went to trying to make money to help pay for medicine. Aton payed and helped her family the best she could though it seemed it was too late, her mother had already given up fighting it the medicine stopped working after a few week…then the inevitable came.
WARNING: Death
The days passed and Aton’s mother only got worse the wound couldn’t be healed and one night Aton was woken up by her mom and taken to her mother who lay on the couch, Aton was told to say goodbye to her mother. The first thing Aton asked her mom was “Where is Mommy going?” Aton had no idea what they were talking when they wanted her to say goodbye to her mother, but soon enough she would find out. Aton was sent back to bed though something in her mind kept her up pretty much all night, usually the only person up at night at this point was her mother so Aton went to go see her, but what she came into the room to see was her motionless mother being held tightly by her mom. Aton came up and looked at her mother, she was smiling something that her mother hadn’t done since the night they were attacked Aton gave her mother a few shakes on the arm trying to wake her up while her mom broke out into tears. The next day a funeral was held among the villagers, thanks to her brother explaining things to her Aton finally understood what they meant by say goodbye…but Aton never got to say it. Aton didn’t attend the funeral she was too busy thinking about why this happened and remained at the family’s home until her mom and brother came back into the house, Aton spoke not a word to either of them. A year passed and Aton had done much of the farming for the family recently it seemed her brother was running out of breath quickly recently and her mom was busy dealing with the other villagers and the problems everyone had.
Warning end: Death (For now)
After collecting the harvest Aton would head into the market area attempting to sell what she had personally grown, Aton had saved up enough her own earning from her harvests to actually buy something of her own, Aton decided to buy a sword. Bringing it and the money home Aton showed it to her mom and insisted that they find someone to train Aton to use it to be able to protect the family. Of course her mom refused at the quickest chance she got, though through determination, and her brothers people skills, Aton found someone able enough to teach her to wield the sword, and soon enough she took up small tasks on killing monster that came near the village. At the age of eleven Aton had become used to going out of the village to fight monsters and bringing back proof for her kills to get a reward from the people who were supplying her with such missions, though each time she came back she would be yelled at by her mom though the woman always had a smile, one day Aton’s mom surprised her with a special gift, a good luck charm to help on her mission her mom knew Aton wasn’t going to stop. Each day Aton took a moment before leaving out for her missions to pray for her lost mother and to pray for the families good health, though these times didn’t last the world is full of colors and not all are pretty, soon enough black would engulf the families lives because of a simple girl’s actions. While out on a mission one day when Aton turned twelve she came upon someone in a white coat passed out on the ground near the forest, she picked him up abandoning her current mission and quickly walked back to the village calling for help from the villagers they got to patching the man up, this was one of the worst decisions of Aton’s life.
WARNING: Human experimentation, Needles, kidnapping
After a few day the man had become healthy and came to thank Aton for saving him, but it was only for a second before the needle was jammed into her neck and the odd colored liquid was pushed into her system. Stumbling back and falling onto the floor Aton couldn’t move as she was picked up and forced to watch as more men came flooding in taking more villagers including her family, Aton wanted to cry, she saved this man for this? What was even going on?! Blacking out Aton fell limp on the man’s shoulder as she was carried for an undecided amount of time Aton woke up on the cold floor of what looked like a cold dark room with a green object blocking her way out. Aton got up and immediately noticed her clothes had changed into something accorded to a long blue dress that wasn’t exactly covering in the back, a patient’s robe if she recalled correctly. Aton walked around the room a bit wondering what was going on, where her family was, and what she was supposed to do…the answers didn’t come, but something much worse did. The man came and turned off the green thing blocking her way out and grabbed Aton’s wrist dragging her along, Aton asked questions while she was being dragged though none were answered as she soon was thrown into a room with a wolf! Aton took a battle stance immediately upon seeing the wolf, though without her weapon she couldn’t fight so running was the only option, Aton avoided the best she could until the wold bit down on her arm…odd, she didn’t seem to feel the teeth in her skin. The wolf’s teeth stopped at the surface of skin and what was protecting her skin from the biting down on her looked like some kind iron surfacing covering her, raising her other arm up she forced the wolf off of her and pushed it away making her way to the door where she was pulled out and brought to her cell once again.
WARNING end: Needles
WARNING: Human experimentation, blood and gore, death
Test after test year after year passed and Aton had pretty much given up on escaping, now she was being put up against actual humans now to see who would break first between the two that were put in the same room. Aton had come out on top so far for five years Atone had come out on top, no one had managed to pierce her skin just yet, soon enough the scientist had brought Aton into a room and they clamped a bracelet onto her left arm which dug into her skin with ease as opposed to what she had expected. Letting out loud screams as the blood flowed out from underneath the bracelet she was moved quickly into a room with another person and as she looked up Aton couldn’t believe who it was. Aton’s mom stood before her with the same bracelet on her arm, once Aton recovered from the piercing pain she ran up to her mother then stopped realizing that if they were in the same room the only way out was for one of them to die. Aton went wide eyed as she backed up, she was either going to be killed by or have to kill the woman that raised her like her actual daughter, Aton was already crying at just the thought as her mom simply opened her arms, the mom couldn’t stand the thought of killing her daughter so she was leaving it up to Aton to decide if one or both of them died there. In an instant pain racked Aton’s left arm as she fell to the ground the braclet changed into what seemed like a cannon that covered her arm, slowly Aton stood up fear in her eyes as she looked at the cannon on her arm and just shook her head. Aton’s mom walked over once she noticed the cannon charging for a shot and raised it up to her heart, Atone only watched in shock as a loud bang went off and the blood splattered on her and everything around her as the bottom half of her mom fell to the floor. Aton just sat there staring at the body on the floor, what remained of her mom until a scientist came n and started to drag Aton out by her hair and something in Aton’s mind went off as she pressed the cannon into the scientist back and blasted a shot making blood splatter around the room.Atone stood up and wiped herself off her cannon arm shifting into a blade as she went through she was able to slice up three scientist and blast two into smithereens before they were able to restrict her.
WARNING END: human experimentation, blood and gore, death
Aton was placed into some kind of pod she banged on as hard as she could before the gas poured in and it wasn’t long until she passed out yet again though what was expected to be short was something far different. Aton woke up what felt like moments later as the pod opened and she felt to the dusty, rubble covered, floor managing to stand up and look around she found two empty pods, hers and another. Upon inspection she found that everything around her had been reduced to rubble and there was hardly any light besides an open door a long way away from her, where was she? What happened? Why could she hardly remember anything? Aton wondered this as she approached the door the light coming in to blind her as she fully opened the door to find herself in some kind of ruin like area. Aton stepped out and moved around to get the feeling of moving in an open space again, she was asleep, but for how long exactly? everything looked much different already from what she knew about the world, which she had more than likely forgoten anyways. Walking for a few days Aton found her way into a city just a while off from where she emerged her mind was still clouded, but one thing was for sure, she needed new clothes, heading to the nearest place to buy something decent Aton managed to make a semi-decent outfit with a few defensive capabilities. Now it was time to move, breaking out into a run to explore the land she made her way to where a merchant suggested she go, a place called Dahlthir, maybe people there would know something about what happened. So arriving with her mind still fuzzy there were many questions in her head, what happened? where did i come from? How long was i asleep and how on earth do i find out? And a more important question in her mind, did she have a family to find? She could hardly remember anything from before she woke up.
General Powers/Abilities/Unusual Traits Description:
Metal armor: Unlike normal armor this armor is a thin layer that cover Aton’s skin and clothing, this type of metal is invisible to the naked eye no matter how hard one tries to look.
Bleed a different blood: Though still being human there are things that went down in those experimentation rooms, one test which had a noticeable effect. When Aton gets injured she does not bleed red, no she bleeds blue and it looks as if it is a type of liquid metal.
Weapon manipulation: Though it might not be exactly on a whim Aton can control which form her weapon takes be it cannon, sword, or just a simple bracelet
Unbreakable Tank: The thickness of her jacket and the layer over her skin make it so her defense is absolute, or it would be if the overcoat didn’t always stretch back to it’s normal position after everysingle time, that said she can only be an impenetrable wall for a short time.
Metal walk: If Aton’s feet touch a metal surface she can move much more quickly and sometimes without even moving her feet, though in no way can she control metal.
Brute strength: Though mainly having a solid defense it’s Aton’s brute force that makes her a threat, a person with high strength and a large weapon make a bad combo for the baddies.
Light intensity: The light in Aton’s left eye is one that is rather odd like she is in general, If the color is blue in battle it means she is fighting like normal, if the light turns Purple it means she’s going in for an attack and it’s expected to be an unpredictable one, if the light vanishes she either trying to trick someone or she’s desperate and going to try running away. This is a major tell on her battle plans.

( CHARACTER SECTION )
Other Characters: –
Faceclaims: Dev Patel for easy/quick reference as well as personal art
Character Name: Alar
Housing: Crooked Lute
Age: 31
Level: –
Appearance:
Alar is a coastal troll, notably from a distant location along the beach! Visually, he appears a handful of years younger than his actual age, and distinctly more feminine rather than masculine.
Height: 7'10ish when slouching, 8'0ish full
Weight: 250ishlb
Alar is tall, broad, and fit, and prefers the comfort of loose clothing rather than tight. Regardless, with his work, he owns a two piece work uniform that attaches at the waist by clasps and is body tight for ease of movement; it is fitted with few clasps and many modifications. He occasionally wears a leather harness fitted with loops under the top half, over his undershirt.
He keeps himself clean. It’s not unusual for him to smell spicy, dirty, and woodsy alongside the scent of oil.
His teal hair falls down in a messy bob cut along his shoulders, and his sideburns are well-kempt along his jawline. Customary with coastal trolls, his body, starting near his collarbone and shoulders, is covered in a light layer of teal fur, though has thicker patches of fur along his body. He has a scattering of freckles along his face and neck.
Piercings, crafted from fine metals and finer gemstones, adorn his ears in randomized locations. His small tusks curve up along his cheekbones, and a stud piercing can be found on his tongue. His eyes are a bright hue of amber and his pupils are slitted.
He wears a thin silver chain around his neck. Attached to such is a small, white claw hanging from a hook and beside that rests a small, silver ring.
Under his clothing, one can find a rather deep scar moving from his chest to his hip on his right side. Additionally, his right ear is torn and scarred over. His right palm, as well, holds a diagonal scar across it. His right side doesn’t seem so lucky. If he opens his mouth really wide, it’s apparent he’s missing a tooth.
He enjoys sunsets and long walks through the engineering workshop to get to the coffee maker. He can also be found reading trash literature. If he’s seen with a book out, he’s almost always ready to start bashing it (or praising it). He’s sociable, easy to talk to, and prefers quiet conversation with one or a few individuals rather than larger groups.
Alar has bad vision, a good sense of smell and hearing, and a kind personality. His accent isn’t as deep as other trolls, but still there; his voice is light and humorous. He’s sociable, easy to talk to, and prefers quiet conversation with one or a few individuals rather than larger groups.
Are they a part of the Adventurer’s Guild?: He is not, though considers himself an ally to the Adventurer’s Guild
Warnings: Mentions of parental abuse in background description; unmentioned sexual abuse (though he prefers to not speak about both topics)
Personality:
Romantic at Heart: Alar openly flirts with those who he is comfortable with or attracted toward, though he keeps from appearing overbearing. A bit affectionate if the receiving person is interested and comfortable, including a hand on their arm, a hug, or otherwise politely touching. He does not shy away from public displays of affection though is courteous of what that display is. He loves physical touches and intimacy.
Generous: Alar believes that being kind and generous are both important virtues. Despite his past, he does all he is able to show that he can be both. He’s very willing to go an extra mile or two and works to make himself more charitable than he was before.
Cleanliness: While Alar’s hobbies tend to be move involved in the grimier side of interests, he prefers to stay keep clean. He loves scented soaps, and when possible, hoards bath products.
Lazy: Alar has a lazy streak that stretches the length of the coastline he grew up on. He’d more than happily spend a day (or two) (or five) doing nothing at all except for sleeping in the sunshine.
Nervous Wreck: He’s always tapping his fingers and shuffling his feet, and more often than not his eyes are wandering around the room as though paranoid. He’s overprepared for most everything based on the jingling in his many pockets and the concealed weaponry in his clothing folds.
Loyal to a Fault: Alar is fiercely protective of his friends and acquaintances, and while this is more often a positive trait, he takes it two steps further nearing the extreme. He’s loyal, overly trusting, and loves too easily despite himself.
Background:
Alar grew up in a coastal region in a tribe of Trolls, prideful and patriarchal in nature; this led to a plethora of problems growing up as he took after his mother in a number of ways instead of his father. Even at a young age, it was clear that he would continue to grow to look like his mother– feminine facial features (including smaller tusks that jut upwards rather than out in front of his face) and a slender frame, a lighter voice, and a personality that lacked his tribe’s usual antagonism.
Without going into detail, Alar’s father was displeased with this and tried to “raise him like a true male warrior of the tribe;” this clearly didn’t work out too well. He continued to take after his mother and studied nature and healing Druidism at her persistence despite his father’s growing distaste.
Eventually, due to abusive circumstances, Alar was sent away at a young age to train and live under the care of a friend of his mother’s– there, he studied animal shifter Druidry before reaching an age where he was too much for her to handle; he held a lot of pent up anger toward his father in particular and took it out on his mother’s friend.
He wound up homeless for some time after abruptly running away and was taken in by a crafty but very poor group of goblins; from them, he gained access to a plethora of old and obsolete mechanics magazines, old technology, and the inheritance of a mechanic’s set.
He also learned, through them, how to commit petty theft and get away with it. The theft grew into other crimes, including working undercover, committing fraud, conning, and swindling, all under names and through disguises so as to not tie anything back to himself.
For a bulky number of years, Alar’s life was in disorder and, at any given moment, he feared arrest or worse. This reached an all time low when a co-worker and dear friend of his was finally arrested (though, bless Donnie’s heart, he never ratted him out, and he would have done the same for him). This led to the proverbial “wake up call” that he needed to start turning his life around.
Presently, Alar is in the trade and commerce business, and an avid learner and researcher in hobby. He spends his time tinkering and toying around both for money and to fill time. He loves rocks, gems, and precious metals, but hates working to get them. Instead, his interests lie in the obsolete mechanics and technology of the past. He owns notebooks filled with self studies on old tech, as well as can be found at any given time when free building something or taking something apart.
Skill wise, he excels in drafting building blueprints and engineering schematics, as well as drawing out maps. When carrying a bag, it’s not unusual for him to have notebooks and sketchbooks.
Alar lives and works in Dahlthir for Gearbloom Shipping, Dahlthir Division as the region manager; it opened as a business between him and a close friend, though the friend no longer runs the business alongside him.
He likes to jokingly refer to himself as a “professional illus-traitor.”
He also is fine with the title of “villainous actor and an active villain.”
Nowadays, though, he tends to work alone, or with one other. He doesn’t appear to be wealthy, but seems to have a knack with gold.
He owns one cactus and one cat.
General Powers/Abilities/Unusual Traits Description:
He has a strange affinity toward magical items of varying enchantments, and the magic therein within them. This doesn’t correspond to people, however, just items.
Alar is a trained Druid though his studies are very minor in nature.
Alar has the ability to cloak himself into the shadows.
Specific Powers/Abilities/Traits of Note:
Druidic Shapeshifting - Feline Affinity (Alar can shift into the form of a black panther at will)
Druidic Plant Magic (at a very basic level, Alar can take minor control of plants around him to do his bidding)
Druidic Restoration (at a very basic level, Alar is able to cure minor wounds through nature magic and healing)
Rogue Shadow Cloaking (Alar is adept at blending into the shadows around him)
Extra (Anything you’d like say!):
Alar is fluent in a wide range of languages, including the Common language, his native Troll tongue, and the language of Goblins. Being a rogue, he’s privy to Thieve’s Cant. With his studies in Druidism, he’s able to communicate with animals on a limited basis.
Welcome to Dahlthir, Kate! Your application for Calliope has been approved. You’ll have 5 days to turn in your blog to the masterlist. If you need more time, you can send us a message!
The character portion of the application can be found under the cut. With how powerful Calliope is, I’m glad she’s decided against destroying the human race! For now, at the very least. I hope she finds Dahlthir a welcoming place and that she can discover more good in the world. Or, maybe she won’t. Maybe the experiences she’ll have out in this world will just convince her all the more of the reason of her creation. I guess we’ll just have to wait and see.
( CHARACTER SECTION )
Faceclaim(s): Sonia Fire Emblem: Blazing Sword
Character Name: Calliope
Housing: Homeless / Traveler
Age: ‘3′ (but appears to be an adult)
Level: 5
Appearance: Though she appears to be a full grown human woman, Calliope is actually an immortal witch who has only been alive for 3 years. She has long, black hair and golden eyes. She has a slender, yet strong build, and tends to look innocent and shy.
Are they a part of the Adventurer’s Guild? No
Warnings: some abuse in her past, potential bad guy
Personality:
Positive:
She is considerate and caring
Loyal to those she serves and her friends
Courageous
Negative:
Short temper / can be quick to anger
Can be compulsive
Often untrusting of those she doesn’t know
Background: Calliope was created with magic for the sole purpose of killing humans in order to create a world of only magical beings. She was brought up and trained to use her powers for evil at any cost, even if it meant sacrificing her own life. In her master’s eyes, she was merely a tool that she would throw away when she was done with her. Calliope knows very little of the human world and because of her master, she regards them as worthless, selfish garbage that should be destroyed. However, despite her upbringing, she has seen that the people of the world don’t seem as bad as her master made them out to be, and she can’t help but to feel remorse for the defenseless humans.
Finally fed up with her master’s treatment, Calliope dared to escape her grasps and now roams the world with cautious curiosity. Perhaps her feelings for the human race and the world around her will change…
General Powers/Abilities/Unusual Traits Description: Most of Calliope’s powers are aimed at killing and destroying large masses of people and villages. On a day to day basis, she doesn’t typically use her powers, unless for simple tasks such as lighting fires or hunting animals for food.
Specific Powers/Abilities/Traits of Note: Her ‘attack’ powers are usually explosive in nature: she can make the ground erupt violently or manipulate lightning to strike around her. She can form balls of fire in varying sizes to hurl at her enemies and has a few varying short ranged attacks as well. She can kill with her hands with a single touch and erect protective barriers around herself.
Along with her attack powers, she can also heal. She can turn into a wolf or a raven at will, and at times even transport herself. However, techniques like this are considered more advanced types of dark magic and therefore, they use up a lot of her energy, so she cannot do it often. When she does, she usually needs to rest before she can use any of her magic again.
If she is too careless with her magic and uses too much of it in a short period of time, it could drain drastically from her and kill her.
Welcome to Dahlthir, Azura! Your application for Celia Kacela has been approved. You’ll have 5 days to turn in your blog to the masterlist. If you need more time, you can send us a message!

Other Characters: Mizuki Hinobashi, Flora Abner, Garma,
Faceclaim(s) & Series: Kurumi Tokisaki from Date A live
Character Name: Celia Kacela
Housing: Tavern (most of the time)
Age: ??? (Looks 18 to 20)
Appearance: Standing at 5’ 2" she may look fragile, but the bundle of pure destruction standing in front of you is anything but fragile and nice. The girl carries herself as if a flower floating on a stream of thick red fluids seeping from a wound of a man on a hill, fast yet at a controllable pace and the bottom of her clothes always soaked in the red liquids of her enemies. Her hair tied up using small bits of rope she decorated with red leafs she found near where she had first come from though the location is a blank to her. Her clothes normally consist of a black dress, long in length with purple flowers and red leafs near the collar to give it a colorful yet dark and dangerous look, the bottom of the dress coated in a red liquid sometimes dry sometimes wet, she refuses to answer what the liquid is and refuses to clean it up if she tracked it somewhere. Her other outfit is a red like dress that stands out a bit more, with a red hairband on her head to keep the pigtails relatively out of her face, with black peppering the red dress this outfit usually comes back either clean or entirely coated in the red liquids mentioned before.
The girl normally keeps a bit of hair over her left to hide the fact it was a different color than her right, though this is only when she wears the black dress, when she wears the red dress she openly shows her yellow left eye as if telling people something. She wears dark red shoes that were presumed to originally be black, but with the red fluids that followed her trail they had adapted the color from improper cleaning. Black fingernails on each hand that don’t change no matter what it was at first presumed to be her having a sickness, but even with advanced research it was just found to be her natural nail color. On the back of her right hand starts a scar with a snake head painted over it to make the scar look like a tongue and the paint trails up to the nape of her neck to a tail, that’s beside another painting on her body that trails down to her lower back and spreads out into a black and red flower that seems as if it was dripping down and making one red sword and one black sword on her rear.
Are they a part of the Adventurer’s Guild?: Nope!
Warnings: Blood and gore (In detail! I will mark the sections with a “WARNING: BLOOD AND GORE” and where it ends), death, destruction, NSFW: nudity
Personality (Please list 3 positive and 3 negative traits. Can simply be bullet points or can be expanded!):
Positive:
Friendly: Celia is a rather friendly girl who tends to be outgoing and always wanting to talk to others and improve her social, though this normally goes less like she wants it to.
Musically inclined: Celia is able to play the violin with great skill, this is normally how she would earn her money for food if she doesn’t go hunting monster down for her own food.

Hardworking: Celia works hard and will do anything required to make money by killing things since it is her favorite activity.
Risk and Reward: Celia, though enjoying killing things the most she, likes the system of quests and will obey the risk reward system going as far as to get several mobs of small enemies to kill at one time to entice more risk to make her reward worth her trouble.
Fashion: Celia has a decent sense of fashion and likes to flaunt the outfits she comes up with
Negative:
Slightly violent: If someone annoys her Celia is very likely to at the very least slap them, she doesn’t like attacking people, but her wants won’t stop her if you annoy her too much, and she will smile while she does it!
Selfish: Celia doesn’t do quests that don’t personally benefit her and sees helping others just to help others as a burden on her life and would rather kill the people to take ALL of their worries away claiming “It’ll only hurt a lil bit!”
Hard to understand: In her language Celia tends to use terms which are presumed to mainly be unknown by the people (though it will be british slang if anyone is wondering what it is)
Bloodlust: Celia has a craving to see the red liquids strewn across the ground and not care who the victim was be it person, animal, or rare species.
Battlefield chaos: Though Celia may seem calm she actually has no sense of friend or foe and sees everything and everyone as a target.
Anti-Hero: No matter the what the girl seems bent on killing and/or attacking any hero that gets near her when she is in the mood to fight. Her ultimate goal in the end is to at the very least level the city’s guild to destroy its hope.

Background (Minimum of 5 sentences.):
WARNING: NSFW: Nudity
Opening her eyes Celia found nothing but darkness around her, she looked into the void of nothingness and simply blinked as she floated, on what felt like water but with a more thick warmness, Celia closed her eyes until a voice called her. Reacting on it’s own to the voice Celia was forced from the void and flat onto her face in a red painted room her exposed body hit by the cold air rather quickly. Shaking her head she stood up her head dazed by what had just happened, but what did just happen? Celia looked around seeing a circle and empty vials on the floor and a table in the middle of the room that a simple red blanket on, and a pod with a cold like air seeping from it, walking over to the table Celia picked up the red blanket and felt the soft fabric…but what was that? How did she know that feeling? What was “Soft?” Celia didn’t know how to describe it, but she picked it up covering her body with it, it may be hardly any cloth, but it was better than having her entire body exposed to the world around her, not that she minded it.
End: NSFW: Nudity
Now covered in the red blanket Celia walked to open the door at the other side of the room and once she opened it she was blinded by something she had never seen before, it was a giant ball of fire i sky the blinded her everytime she looked up. In this blind daze she wondered out of the doorway and into the small village that surrounded it, she managed to walk up the stairs and onto a little stage that had been set up. Once in the middle of the stage Celia recovered her vision finding bars in front of her and all around her, she hadn’t walked onto a stage, she had walked into a cage which she was now trapped in. Grabbing onto the bars she shook them as the people laughed at her, she was being advertised to be demonic attraction people poking and prodding her with sticks throwing round spheres that burst into chunks and juices that burned when it got into her eyes. Cleaning her eyes with cloth she sat down and just let people poke her, harder and harder they got it started to hurt just to move, soon a group of adventures approached the stage and demanded they let her out. Being happy to be let out Celia ran up to thank the people for freeing her, but instead of letting her shake their hands they drew weapons on her, a holy sword made of light, a wound with a cross, and bow with arrows made of energy. An instinct hit Celia at that moment where her only thought was “RUN IDIOT!”
Celia made a bolt for the outside of town she left only dark footprints on the ground as she ran, she ran though the field into the next city where she instantly got odd looks for being so underdressed. Celia could sense them following her, so using the area to her advantage she got lost in the crowd, losing the adventures only lead her to something more humiliating than being trapped in a stationary cage. It took only a moment for it to happen, the hand around her throat the cloth in her mouth to keep her from screaming as she was dragged to a waggon and thrown into the back and locked inside. Celia banged on the door for a few solid hours until she fell back from feeling the cart moving, Celia could feel the tears running down her face, from one humiliating situation to the next Celia was dragged from city to city as the one foolish demonic girl, though was she a demon? They had no proof, and she wouldn’t show, because she didn’t know, heck she didn’t even know how to speak. Eventually, weeks later, her captors got sick of this and dragged her out for what was supposed to be a public execution because she wasn’t listening she was pushed up to a wall and held there as they sharpened a sword.
WARNING: Blood and gore!
As Celia was held they picked up the sword and first stabbed her her leg, Celia’s eyes shot open as she let out a whale of pain feeling the blood run down her leg though she spoke no words. Next they grabbed her right arm cutting it clean off making her scream even louder tears streaming down her face at this point as the man lifted the blade to her neck. Celia shook her head as they held her by her stomach putting the blade up to her neck, Celia felt the cold steel against her skin as it slid across her neck she could feel the blood seeping from it as the sword moved cleaning across her throat. Celia’s body trembled in fear as her head got fuzzy, her vision blurred from blood loss and once released Celia dropped to the ground in a pool of her own blood with eyes wide open looking at the people who just watched the presumed demon bleed to death in front of them. The image was stuck in her mind like a clear day, the people’s faces as they stood there watching the girl bleed onto the ground none of them were concerned that the men may have murdered an innocent girl. They stood unfazed some even enjoying the sight of the girl laying there in dying pain, Celia’s last thoughts were about how cruel and unfair the world was, she had just woken up from that void and now she was on the brink of death.
A voice rung in her mind saying “Do you want to live? Do you want power to make them pay?” Calia couldn’t respond with a voice, but with all of her mind she screamed yes, Celia wanted to live, she wanted a future. With a flash of red light Celia could feel her breath returning to her body as a searing pain filled her, the movements she gave in reaction only made the wounds spurt more blood onto the ground around her. Her own severed arm dissolved into darkness and flowed into her body and it took only moment for her neck and leg to completely heal, using her left arm as a stabilized lift Celia stood up, a look of anger in her face. Celia stood there, a girl with fatal injuries healed in an instant, another wave of pain strick her body as the sever arm bursted out into a demonic hand with ruptures of blood onto the surrounding people. Celia moved, almost instantly to the man that had cut her with the sword ramming her sharp demon clawed hand through the man’s stomach and out the other side to stab the man partner in the side. Pulling her arm out quickly she flung blood onto the audience as they watched the demonic action in shock, then she turned towards them with only one thought in mind, “I’LL KILL THEM ALL! YOU WATCHED AS WRITHED IN PAIN NOW I’LL SEE YOUR FACES DISTORT IN THE SAME!” Celia rushed to the first person cutting their neck clean open with her claw and grabbing another stabbing both of that womans legs and leaving her to bleed out in pain, she moved to quickly swipe the arms off of several of the people there. There were about ten people left and now Celia was going berserk, she wanted to see more blood for what they had done to her, more blood for the ignorance, more more more! Wanting to cause much more pain Celia was gifted a new toy by her master, a scythe one as black as her hair, her scythe as sharp as it could be. With one quick swipe she cut all ten peoples heads off and destroyed the buildings behind them, getting advised on how she should use her powers she destroyed the town and everyone in it making sure to leave no trace of it.
END: Blood and gore, for now
Taking a few leaves from the town and a few pieces of tattered clothes from destroyed home Celia put together a black dress and put it on, it seemed to fit perfectly. Celia walked and walked and walked she hadn’t come upon a town in about three days, but it was obvious someone was on her trail and that was not going to be good. The person eventually caught up to Celia and drew his weapon, Celia hid her demon hand beneath bandages and materialized her scythe, the fight was rough and scarring for both of them, but in the end Celia ended up destroying the sword of light the man held, and well, Watching as the body exploded into dark matter and flowed into her healing her wounds and the sword doing the same but flowing into her scythe. Her weapon gave off a small glow as the energy slowly moved into the scythe and her arm. In an instant her scythe had vanished just as quickly as it absorbed the body, though the battle had taken a toll on her body and brushed her to the brink of exhaustion. Celia stumbled her breathing was separated by long breaths as she tried to regain the breath that had been knocked out her during the battle.
After a few minutes of walking she fell forward because of oxygen deprivation, her vision first went black, but in almost an instant she opened her eyes with a loud gasp of air. She was laying in a bed with white sheets over it, looking around quickly she found it was day and the plant life outside was very lush and thriving, but between her and it was some kind of forcefield that felt cold yet fragile. Giving it a good punch she broke it with a loud shattering noise turning whatever it was into black energy to heal the wounds that was a direct result of the action. Moments later a person rushed up to the room to check the noise to find her standing there with a blank look. Celia finally noticed she was wearing white clothing that had a bit of red splattered on it now, the person asked if Celia was alright, Celia wanted to answer but opening her mouth gave no words at all. Cleia looked down at her bandaged right arm it seemed the bandages held through the trip of whoever brought her here, Celia assumed it was the woman that lived in the house.
The person simply gave a nod and lead Cleia around town and introduced her to the people of the small town, while looking at the city as if a flicker of a vision Celia saw the fields and houses on fire and red stains soaking the ground. The most Celia could call these visions was “beautiful” it was something she wanted to see, something in her body was telling her to destroy and murder, but they would be of some use first. After the next few weeks Celia learned to talk from the villagers and she got accustomed to the way of living while having the woman take care of her. While living in the town she learned how to summon her scythe and use it as quickly as she could combined with kicks and her environment to get the upperhand in battle. Though she was told to avoid areas where dark energy was starting to spread and grow stronger, of course these were areas where Celia was drawn and always went to with each area she corrupted she grew stronger. A few days later Celia noticed her scythe glowing a bright red glow on the blade and the snake paint on her hand gave a red glow as well, and as if it was calling for what she wanted…it started.
WARNING: BLOOD AND GORE
From the field Celia walked into the town, the sky had turned dark the moment her weapon and tattoo started to glow, she walked with weapon drawn and smirk on her face. A farmer had approached her to welcome her back like they normally did and with a single swing of her scythe the man fell to the ground cut in half, looking over the now horrified villagers she pressed her foot to man’s head until it bursted and the blood turned into dark energy. Raising her scythe she gave a swing sending a sharp wave of dark energy coursing through the town cutting off limb after limb of the villagers and turning the remains of the cut off limbs into dark energy to feed her. Soon a sharp pain soon wracked her arm as the cloth bandages exploded into shreds exposing the abnormally large demon hand, with yet another burst of blood, holding her scythe in her left hand against her arm with a loud maniacal laugh. Moving over Celia found the person who had housed her for the duration of her stay, looking at the person who was missing an arm and bleeding onto the ground Celia only smiled as she picked them up with the claws of her demon hand by ther persons head. Giving a creepy look Celia started to squeeze the person’s head blood starting to run down the person’s neck…one…two…three then a loud smash and piercing sound filled the air as the claws sunk through the skin the blood sinking in through her skin as she dropped the body.
END WARNING: BLOOD AND GORE
Celia went through the rest of village killing and destroying everything until the town was leveled and walked to the next doing the same, but making the villagers suffer, after using them to learn more about the people. Though after a few towns seeing the villagers suffering became boring, Celia quickly became uninterested with killing people this week, she always found herself in the same situation as before with a broken down village and the same cries for help. Celia started to spare a few towns from the destruction by moving past them and not minding them, while passing through a town Celia heard about a city one with an established guild for stability, defense, and help. Something in her mind was going off, “go there” there it was telling here, a new challenge was presenting itself and she wanted to take it, no way they were stronger than her. Traveling to the town was easy, though like normal her plan was going to come first, she was going to suck every bit of info she can from the city, though she had never been in a big city before. Just by inspecting the people of the town she assumed they would be the same level as usual, but those were just the civilians, the real challenge would come when she entered the guild. Immediately she could feel the presence of the guild members most powerful and she couldn’t help but feel the excitement rise in her chest, but she couldn’t remain she would be found out. So she left raised money by using her skills to her advantage and purchased a room at the Tavern to stay at when she didn’t camp in the fields.

Dark matter- Summoning (Medium): Taking about ten minutes Celia uses a small summoning circle added with dark energy to summon clones of herself with only physical attack abilities
Dark matter- Summoning (Large): Using a summoning circle as big as her old town and a great amount of dark matter Celia is able to summon a large demon for a complete hour and cause mass destruction along a certain predetermined path.
Dark matter- Summoning (Max-Urgent warning: Do not let her use this at any time!): Using a summoning circle as big as Dahlthir in it’s entirety will summon an great entity bent on destroying everything in it’s sight and then more until there is nothing left to destroy, presumably this is the power of the demon king himself. Note: Using this kind of spell even with a city of overwhelming negativity will kill the user. The demon king does not appear for no reason a sacrifice must be made.
Extra: Though being an Anti-Hero by classification Celia enjoys the company of heros near her, though she refuses to join the guild, because she knows what she is and she knows what will happen if she lets her guard down.
Cleia can not change into a dragon, and if asked if she’s ever tamed a dragon she will respond, “I don’t tame dragons, i devour them!”
Welcome to Dahlthir, Noir! Your application for Nico Cathir has been approved. You’ll have 5 days to turn in your blog to the masterlist. If you need more time, you can send us a message!
The character portion of the application can be found under the cut. First off aaa you’re too sweet akjsdhkasjdh. But aaa unicorn! I’m yelling. Yas! But oh jeez. I love the story of human greed aha. It’s so sad to see the unicorns disappearing because of them, though. Thinking of this herd that just brought hope and good things to others getting hurt and killed off because of humanity is just so sAD. How faeries and dragons came together to help them out was awesome but still. I hope Nico finds a place for his herd. Maybe we can just like shove the town of Dahlthir like further down the valley and compress it a little to give the herd space? I’m sure if we just get together and push we can squish in the streets a little, maybe shave off a few feet from the big plazas.

Hundreds of years ago, back when human civilization had just began to build their empires a herd of mythical horses roamed the earth. It was said these creatures were made the incarnate of purity itself. They soared the skies and cantered across the fields spreading healing and hope.
Nico was born to this very herd and for the initial years of his life he was lead through life with his family, protected and loved. But like every origin story tragedy struck. For the first time one of his brothers had been killed by a human and after drinking his fallen comrades Ichor the human had gained immortal attributes.
Soon their world was filled with the struggle of survival and war, the once peaceful humans they had blessed were now hunting them down for the very blood that had healed them for centuries before. Everything about his species became nothing but a prized hunting animal to them.
An empire that had been created from a man who Nico had once healed as an infant grew greedy. He sent out thousands of foot soldiers to find and capture Nico’s herd in an attempt to gain control of the source of immortality.
His family had never once partaken in war or any act of violence before, they were pacifists who gained powers from purity. However that changed distractedly as their numbers began to dwindle and only the strongest had survived.
Just as Nico had feared extinction of his race, their greatest allies came to their aide, faerie and dragons alike bound arms and defended them. Watching the great reptiles flatten an army or the faeries elegantly dance around in battle intrigued Nico. He began training and learning battle magic, rallying his family to join him.
The beings once known for their gentle nature had become forces to reckon with. They teemed with magic itself, the powerful blows from their hooves and the swiftness that matched the fastest of creatures. They had become creatures just as ferocious as dragons. The humans never stood a chance against all three allied races and retreated after devastating blows to their armies.
With their victory came a decision. It would only be a matter of time before the humans would try again. Both dragons and faerie offered up their realms for refuge and most of the herds took shelter with their allies. Nico however refused to be driven out from his home and instead was one of the first to adapt to human culture.
For years he lived in disguise among the creatures that had slaughtered his brethren and learned that not every human was filled with greed. He continued living among humans, travelling from city to city healing and fighting for those in need. He hopes to find a place that his brethren can return to without being hunted and live peacefully amongst humans once more.

Other Characters: Amelia Veldair
Faceclaim(s) & Series: Izuku Midoriya [ Boku no Hero Academia ]
Character Name: Ephen Sonne
Housing: Silque and Cael’s orphanage; his room is on its fifth floor, being just two rooms away from the bathroom (and thus one of the two furthest from the stairs themselves.)
Age: 15
Appearance: Ephen is a young human on the short side (~5’5”) that looks his age, if not a bit younger— the unyielding youthfulness in his emerald eyes is one he shares with fewer and fewer in Dahlthir, the color in said saucer-wide eyes sometimes blazing greater than anyone else’s. Contrary to his faceclaim’s canon, Ephen has never had any instructed combat training— obvious from how frail his body looks, and how wispy and slight it truly is in comparison. Despite that, his skin has never been that cold— even when he was in his first residence in Dahlthir, spending so much time in the sun certainly meant that warmth would scatter through his skin even a bit. Also scattered are countless freckles, dotting everywhere another could see: the most obvious are on his cheeks, crossing through the bridge of his nose. Other than that, only scratches and injuries fill empty spaces- nothing else is on his skin. His hair is dark green, black seemingly creeping in it like roots— and as long as it keeps growing, Ephen has changed from letting it cover his face to loosely attempting to tie it up.
Are they a part of the Adventurer’s Guild?: Nope!
—- How long have they been part of the Guild: —
Warnings: tw death (not vivid; only one cause of death is specified, and is not mentioned on the trigger list) and abandonment
Personality:
[pos.] hardworking, observant, cheerful (and yet brave in any time he needs to be that the most)
[neu.] emotional, selfless
[neg.] untrusting, indecisive, unconfident and self-destructive
Background:
Searching for an older Sonne in Dahlthir or any other village nearby would be a goose chase— all too obvious with why Ephen moved living spaces so many times. But if one wanted to know the boy’s origins, they would simply have to ride to Agatcham— though his old dwelling is now either decrepit or occupied by another farmer. You might find scraps and paper, though: perhaps foxglove and herbs and residual magic might be swept aside in one room. ( But who is he to know? After all, he hasn’t known the aftereffects of his past for two years- just what he knew before the present turned to past. )
Not much has been left behind, however; you would need to talk to the older residents to find definite information. Most remember the villagers that left for good- because most walked away with Death by their side, because few villagers ever did leave without it. ( And, as a result, these memories were years and years old. ) They turned into real tales, and they became the ‘adventures’ an Agatcham farmer could recollect with varying emotion. One recent tale was of a lost family, whose final fate was unknown.
It started fifteen years ago. Well, to put it simply: when the son of the lost family was born, everything was okay. He was born into a family of the sun and raised by the tales of heroes, heavily admiring their adventures and every retelling. But he knew a legend like theirs would never be in his hands; his parents were magnanimous, as was he, and involving most their money to aid others meant he could never take a lesson in combat. He learned his own skills over time— maybe more basic than one would perceive a hero’s hobbies, but still all ones he loved as much as their tales— in return for applying those skills, and a bit of mingling with the village, and there was the thought that he’d become just another pleasant, calm farmer.
( These assumptions were always too quick. )
In a day, such thoughts blew away like dust, as well as the pleasant days of the Sonne family. Because someone had left long before dawn, the used wax of candle and wrinkly paper left on the dining table. When he woke up, the boy found his mother crying at the table, tears pooling at her side. He rushed to her side, all thoughts and worries focused on her than his own— all but the anger rising at his father.
Because he was not a baby anymore. Because twelve year olds were never foolish, except for their decisions. ( Because he was so, so much smarter than this village thought, and maybe he wasn’t a genius but he could definitely comprehend things before a sloth could lift a finger. ) His father? Now gone, vanished like the cold wind to adventure to earn money to become a hero—
Tell him, he thought, are so many heroes as terrible as this?
There was a package laying there. A small parcel next to wax and paper, badly tied in the night— it held unused money, ones and tens of currency his father had never given to them. ( Not as giving as everyone thought? Perfect. ) The note told them that when they were waiting for him to return, they could use it. They could use it to move somewhere else.
The child bitterly held onto it; his mother may have prayed, but he did anything but that. ( What a blinding mistake. )
Truly, he was too focused after the incident on helping his mother: he flung himself into fieldwork to aid their failing financial situation, because his father was no longer there, and any spare time was a blur of some old tasks and more familial help. There was no correspondence from their father—
None, none until a few months later.
At that time, the child was in the fields, and spotted the unusual: adventurers riding to on horseback. People didn’t visit often; apparently, Dahlthir’s guild was starting to help around with horde problems, but his appreciation did not rise then. There had been no need for elimination lately, and the closer the riders got, the more obvious it seemed they were looking for anything but monsters. Running up to them (his first mistake), he’d grabbed at the thought that they were heroes in the making and assumed it before the worst. But then leading them to his house (his second mistake) and watching them knock on the door (his third mistake) lead to the exact worst. They delivered the news slowly, too slowly, and he expected the exact thing he’d thought before his assumptions.
His father was dead from adventuring- the two riders had gone on the road and found him, not even near a far-off village- and the child felt too bitter and too angry for one day.
But they were left be again, with only condolences from the village and visitors. And disaster chose to strike again. ( Of course. )
Nineteen months had passed- they’d made it through a year and a half, and the boy was thirteen. It was in winter, near the break to spring- and the peace was disrupted by a dizzy spell in the middle of the day. So the boy, in better shape, dragged himself to the clinic, pulled himself together to sprint as fast as his knees could, and yelled- cried for them to help, because he just knew what would come next and yet—
When the boy was thirteen, he forced himself to see them trying to save his mother. And when he was thirteen- thirteen, and almost fourteen, he was the only family member to hear that she had died. ( He overheard them. Takotsubu cardiomyopathy: the scientific name for broken heart syndrome. She’d been suffering for months, and he and everyone else had been blinded by the sun. )
Two mornings after, the cottage was found to be near-picked clean, fields carried by new farmers. One person was notified of this beforehand– a resident horse rancher, where he bought a horse from. ( He hoped, he hoped so much, more than he ever had, that they could take him somewhere and never have to look back. That the lessons he’d had before would grant him help this once. ) Afterwards, the boy left no note, taking off in the morning and grabbing anything he had that he cared about.
The boy spent what felt like hours riding on the road- avoiding the nearing monsters was no problem with horseback, but it meant being wary when he had to. Eventually, a town neared, and he chose to stop by it. While an hour was spent riding, pure minutes were spent walking to find a place to stay in this town. Soon, he came across Eymtri Inn and entered; this was how he met the owner of the inn, a flustered mess hurrying about in the main room. He offered to help, paying for his room with a shared workload, and easily blended in with the other villages. Soon, the questioning gazes were replaced by kind faces and pleasant conversation, and he felt just as comfortable as he had been years back in Agatcham. This compelled him to stay and pick up more jobs, and his work became known through some parts of this town- or rather, of Dahlthir. People grew to like him not for heroics, but the small bouts of work he did- and even if he did not become known by name, he was fine with that.
But so much work didn’t last forever. The boy no longer aspired to be a hero, of course, and definitely didn’t after what his father had caused; but there was a feeling of yearning, of wanting to be somewhere else but yet somehow still there. Asking (with ease) to take a day off, that day was spent with even more questions: about where he could move to within Dahlthir. Most answers, with his age taken up as factor and the fact that he had said he’d come to town alone, directed him to The Golden Rose, and he hurried as fast as he could. ( After all, they had said the building was crammed near the market square, and there was no way the boy would squeeze his way through the crowds later. )
Ending his sprint before the masses of sellers and buyers could arrive, he pushed open the door to The Golden Rose and entered. Already entranced by the building’s exterior, he was too surprised when he realized the interior design and stopped in his tracks- the building– restaurant– looked amazing, but he had no idea where he could actually live.
He quickly got the answer to his questions— a welcoming voice broke him from his stupor, and his own voice poured out with the question of residence.
( And perhaps you know how that conversation went. )
Years later, he still stays, helping out in Dahlthir however he can. Many are acquainted with him or know him by name or hobby; some are close to family, and yet not a single villager is close enough to break all his walls down. But this boy’s name is, and has been, Ephen Sonne, and despite all the walls he made he’s never wanted to look at them again. He focuses towards the future, towards living a life hopefully better than his life in Agatcham- and with the festival upcoming, there’s the blooming thought, one as seedy as him, that his hopes might be true after all.
Level: 1
General Powers/Abilities/Unusual Traits Description: While not a mage, and really not having anything unusual of note, Ephen holds a magic of his own: his vocation lies heavily in trade and craft. His farming skills have weakened from lack of use, but the tasks he’s taken up in Agatcham and Dahlthir strengthen the rest. Notable skills would include caring for and riding horses, cooking, and cleaning, but perhaps the most closeted is his notes and his writing. He tends to write down a lot of stuff (often for memory purposes)— whether it’s a story, recipe, or something of his own expertise, you’re bound to find something of note in his books.
Specific Powers/Abilities/Traits of Note: —
Extra: Leone is a Clydsedale horse he brought with him to Dahlthir; she resides in the stables, and he’ll often be seen near them taking care of her.
