Edward hadn't wanted to go see his wife, but he supposed he had no other choice. It was Valentine's Day, after all, and societal convention dictated that he at least try to be a decent husband, even though everyone knew just how rotten he was.
He'd combed his hair into a pompadour, attempted to find a tie, realized he didn't have any because ninety percent of his wardrobe was back in Forks, cursed, and dressed himself as presentably as possible. Then he had waited at the train station for the half hour it took for the train to arrive.
It was only once he'd gotten on the train that he realized he had no idea where she lived. He scratched the bug bite on the back of his hand- the same shade as his garnet eyes- and scowled.
