It was a quiet 10:00pm at the local Burger Barn. The place was near deserted. Nearly. But no, not quite empty yet.
Usually at this time, there would be a last minute customer asking for a late-night bite, or a few would stay longer than expected, chatting and eating their meals. This time however, it was neither of these that kept Yumihiko from being the only one left at the place.
Positioned at one of the tables was a sleeping -- sleeping? -- person, the very one who had taken the challenge a mere 5 hours ago. It came as a big relief to the boy when he saw the not-quite stranger finally stir, overhearing some moans and groans and garbled musings.
“Oh, you’re...” Heading over to the table, the boy looks on expectantly. “Uhm, you’ve been out for a while, but! Are you ok?” It is a bit concerning that this person’s been out for a while....but at least he’s awake now, right?
