nothing too glamorous with the date, just the two of you walking along the empty shores talking about anything as the sunlight is reflected off the ocean

“hey, do you... see me in your future?” daichi asks

he gets really sentimental during these type of things ok🥺

‘please say yes please say yes’ is what he’s thinking as he awaits for your answer

daichi probably knows a thing or two about the beach. he’d find big rocks to lift so the two of you can observe the little ecosystems

the two of you do split up to find some spots with anything cool. it’s pretty quiet until...

you’re running up to daichi, carefully holding something in your palms

“daichi, daichi! look, i found a baby crab”

omg something about him seeing you run along the shores, big smile on your face, ankles wet with salt water and some sand. all of it with the final kiss of the suns orange glow

he’s in love.

and daichi seems to miss his words for a few seconds as you’re waving back for his attention

he hopes too, that you’ll be in his future
