I've noticed you post a lot of Audrey Hepburn, what are some (or all) things you love about her?? I've read a few articles about her and have been wanting to watch some of her films but haven't got to it yet ;; but I think she's lovely just from the small knowledge I know of her!

and oh gosh what a great question :’’) hardly anyone ever asks me about audrey hepburn. when people today talk about audrey hepburn, they tend to focus on her looks or her fashion, but that’s not what makes her stand out. that’s not what makes her special. her personality is what makes her wonderful. her personality is inspirational and incredible.

audrey was down to earth and humble. she never thought of herself as better than anyone else. she saw everyone around her as an equal and treated them with respect. she never acted like a diva. she was professional throughout her entire career. her kindness was never a persona, she was truly kind and polite to everyone she met. that’s why all her costars and the crew she worked with said nothing, but wonderful things about her. that’s why nearly all of her male costars fell in love with her and all her female costars admired her.

audrey was a strong woman. she endured world war II while growing up in europe, she was starved throughout her childhood, her father abandoned her when she was a child, she had miscarriages, she had divorces, and she didn’t become a prima ballerina, which was her dream. she choose rise above everything and stayed kind. instead of becoming bitter, she became more empathetic.

she never lost her beautiful personality. when she grew older, she got into humanitarian work by becoming a UNICEF ambassador. she travelled to third world countries despite the travel being very hard on her health. she always flew in coach instead of first class because she wanted to save as much money as possible for UNICEF. she used her fame to speak about issues that children in third world countries were enduring, mostly education and starvation. she could have gotten a big salary for her work for UNICEF, but instead she asked for one dollar a year. she was truly dedicated to helping children. in her last few years, she devoted herself to helping humanity.

audrey hepburn wasn’t just a style icon or a pretty face, she was a remarkable person who used her empathy to better humanity and i think that’s truly beautiful.
