question, 12th oct 2019: does your OC like kids? are they good with them?

one of ram’s major soft spots is kids! despite her general lack of empathy and questionable morals you will never catch her being anything other than genuine and caring towards children. she’s not a good person per se, but she is a good mom

den was absolutely adamant she didn’t want kids, she didn’t like them, they didn’t like her, but then she got a bunch herself and its like the clouds parted. she’s not the best at the whole thing but she genuinely loves her kids and it shows

caper is both a child and would probably manage to kill one unintentionally if left unattended. this goes double for calamity

question, 9th sept 2019: what is your OCs least favourite place in hallownest?

updated info: 

other Really Bad Places for mori include her parents’ old house in the city and the places she went to school

ram’s least favourite location is the howling cliffs and associated locations. far too much wind and dust for her liking, and she far prefers the comfortable enclosed caverns below

den develops an extreme yet reasonable dislike of ram’s study in the soul sanctum after spending at least 100 years in there stewing in her thoughts, starving, and succumbing to infection

caper doesn’t like the abyss much.. they just get really sick down there, and it got kinda boring after spending so many years there alone

calamity despises the abyss more than literally anywhere else the kingdom has to offer for fairly obvious reasons

question, 4th sept. 2019: capitalism what does your OC use geo for, and where do they get it

updated information:

spindle can’t create charms with lifeblood and would not consider selling it in any form, preferring to give it away as a commodity. most of their belongings now were either found, made, or gifts

the rest in the original is still accurate

ram, den, and mori were around in hallownest’s prime so had quite a bit more use for geo than anyone else has in the present dead kingdom

ram was very well off in her job and was considered rather affluent as far as city bugs go - not the richest and far from the most powerful, but did very well for herself. she was a rather impulsive buyer of literally just... random ornaments and relics and stuff to put on a shelf and never look at again. as well as fancy cloaks of course

den on the other hand got pretty menial pay but didn’t care so much about it. moved in with ram after they had been courting for a while, but still only really spent geo on stuff like food and practical stuff

mori was like... lower upper class? before faking her death that is lmao. had a sense of fear about wild spending instilled in her very young tho and she’s quite neurotic about saving any geo she gets even in the present

spite eats geo.

calamity has literally no use for it

keer is broke and doesnt want to admit she has a running tab going with at least 3 different businesses. one day she’ll strike it rich at the colosseum. one day

spindle would still be a cleric but later after ascending to a higher being, could technically be a patron 

thimble is more likely a sorcerer

bobbin is a barbarian

the rest is still good

ram is a sorcerer

den is a fighter

mori could. probably be a bard ngl

caper is definitely a bard

calamity would probably stay what they are: horrifying eldritch void creature

question, 11th sept 2019: how does your OC deal with cold?

updated info:

ram is also a big advocate for billions of layers. just put on every cloak you own its fine lol

den says she doesnt care and is the type to go out in the city without so much as a raincloak but she absolutely regrets it. cold sucks

caper doesn’t really have much to wrap up with, and the cold exacerbates their void sickness quite a bit, so really they just tend to “hibernate”

calamity can’t really feel the cold to deal with it in the first place

question, oct 31st 2019: what would your OC do on halloween?

updated info:

den does not see the point in the slightest. the type of person to put out an empty candy bowl with a sign saying ‘take what you want’ to keep kids from knocking. she’s just tired

ram on the other hand is that person with 2389739 decorations who gets into character to hand out sweets and everything. its fun and nobody gets hurt, emotionally or otherwise! well, probably!

keer would try and trick or treat as a grown ass adult

question, 31 aug 2019: nosks take the form of whoever one trusts most, so who would it appear as to your oc?

updated information:

considering the redo of spindle’s backstory in the abyss their first encounter with nosk would far more likely show up mimicking butter (@/lifeblood-threaded). the second is still canon. later on potentially any of their friends/family members could work

thimble and scratch’s both still stand but other options for thimble now include mori and moss (@/mossy-vessel) and for scratch, mother lin (@/lifeblood-threaded) or ruth

add nip to the options for chaff

bobbin’s is still accurate but also could be spindle or corvid (@/gremlin-vessel)

keer would see the family she lost back home

mori would see ramira or her friend amber (@/modpix-blog :))

spite would see mori

ram and den would both either see each other or the kids

caper probably wouldnt see calamity because even theyre smart enough to know theyre too big to fit in deepnest.. honestly theyd probably see charm (@/charming-vessel)
