Big Personal News!!
Hey everyone! It's been a while but I had a rocky start at the start of the year. I am getting better in my terms of health and all, but that's not what I'm doing this post for.
As you guys are probably aware, I'm a student actress and this is my last year of my bachelor in college. And last semester, I was presenting an original play for one of my classes and I thought that would be the last of it for now since I wanted to focus on the courses I got left.
Well, today there has been a huge change of plans.
Because I just got the call from the director that one of the most important theater centers in our country wants us to bring back this play to present it on March. With full pay.
This is a huge milestone for me, because I never thought I would get the chance to act in a place like that due to how the industry has been lately and I wanted to share this with you because I appreciate you guys a lot and Im beyond excited for this opportunity.
On another note, really hoping that the next chapter will done this weekend and I will go more into depth about other things like updates and other small things.

Im gonna put on my film student glasses for this because it’s… something.
First off, I will tell you my stance on the whole film. The ONLY reason I am willing to spend money on tickets to see it, it’s because of the x-men, fantastic four, and the thunderbolts. I was hyped when Doctor Doom was announced as the main villain but it all went downhill when RDJ was announced as the one playing him.
(Nothing wrong with him. I adore his acting, but I was really hoping for new ROMANI actor to play Doctor Doom. The MCU has been cashing in on nostalgia and I am TIRED-)
Onto the trailer itself, my god. It’s all over the place. Who greenlit this mess??
I will always stand with less is more. And showing all this characters jumbled up in less than three minutes it’s quite the choice. And the overall vibes of the movie that I am getting from the trailer it’s just straight up aura farming instead of an interesting or engaging plot.
And if they don’t want to show the plot in the trailer, which is totally fine and preferable, there’s just little that intrigues me from what was shown. I felt little to nothing emotive from it while watching. Which is saying A LOT because I will literally eat up any type of crumb related to the X-Men or mutants.
And don’t get me started on Mystique’s wig OH MY FUCKING GOD WHAT IS THAT-
Maybe I’ll eat my words, maybe I won’t. Trailers aren’t meant to define how a movie will end up like. Especially in this case, since I kind of recall that they filmed multiple endings and outcomes. Which I’m sure it will change depending on the public’s reaction to the trailers. I will just wait for the release and then see, but my expectations are pretty low. I’m just here for my x-men and that’s it.
(Why in the hell is Gambit fighting Shang-chi??? I must know if they just shoved the names in a bowl and picked at random who is meeting who smh-)
Again, just my opinion!! If people are excited for the trailer and have a different opinion or perspective, totally fine and good for them!!! I am just… not sure what I was expecting but well, we’ll just have to watch the movie✨✨

A bit of a personal note:
Getting through this internship without having any real plans after college and doubting myself so much to the point I'm even thinking of quitting acting, only to get offered a spot on a theater company in London and contacts for scholarships for master's programs has gotta be one of the wildest things to ever happen to me.
Guess is all about just doing things even when you are scared out of your mind🥹✨
