For the love of everything out there can we stop making everything regarding neurodivergence about specifically autism/adhd. I know its infuriating that people shy around saying "autistic" but thats not what the post was about oh my godddd. "Hey dont exclude neurodivergent people that arent (only) autistic/adhd :)" proceeds to make it specifically about autism FUCK MY LIFE. Yes i want to talk about my autism yes i want people to stop being ableist about it but can we talk about the other things too???? My personality disorders are SO MUCH MORE hindering to me. Being on the schizospectrum is so much more hindering to me. Can i have a space to talk about that too? Can i talk about how people argue with me when i ask them to stop calling others delusional as an insult when it isnt even an accurate descriptor in any way? That they'll say its not ableist? Can i talk about how "avoidant" has been chalked up to a pop psychology term when its a personality disorder that ruins my life? And its never recognised as anything other than that term? Not to mention how everyone always talks negatively about it. Never any kindness, never any questions about why one may be avoidant. No worries about how avoiding literally everything can impact the one doing it. Etc etc this isnt eloquent at all and i give up
