"Cm’on. She’s tame. I mean, as are most women in your line of work. What’s wrong with her?" A nice, long, interesting discussion about women and love was about to brew between the two of them. He could feel it.
"Trust me, Peter--" His features were unchanging but his voice still carried more venom than he intended, "That's not something that I can see happening."

[[MOR]Wasn’t Passenger just flat-out a song about sex on the road? Or, in the back seat pulled over?
Yes. Yes it was.
itsy bitsy spider;
Mary Jane doesn't remember much beyond the flash of light. She blames the shock that hits her like a eighteen wheeler. Her body blocks out the function for memory and increases the functions to run. There must have been some activity going on before the flash of light, for she is already tired even before the dart away from the source.
The moon is high above the city. It's dim now and her vision remains adjusting after the bright illumination. Thus, Mary Jane doesn't notice that she's fifty stories about ground level and running to the edge of the building.
Finally her eye sight adjusts and she sees the lights from the building parallel to her. The red light on the spire of the Empire State building blinking and she doesn't even need to tilt her head any higher. However it's too late.
Mary Jane's foot steps down and there is nothing to support her. Gravity wraps around her frame and pulls her down towards the concrete. She doesn't believe what is happening at first. Then slowly, she realizes what's going to come next.
She screams.
Arms flail, hands clench, legs kick; she's trying to stop herself. There's no way to stop now. Tears bubble from her eyes and float behind her. Wind whips her hair. She can hardly breathe now. She's going to die without knowing what happened to her--she's going to die, not knowing where Peter is.
She's going to die like Gwen and leave Peter alone.
No--
No!
I won't let that happen! MJ screams in her mind. She let's out the loudest call for Spider-Man as she can. It is louder than a train whistle. If she had her purse, she would be pressing the pager to notify him. All she can do is hope that he hears her. That his Spider-Sense is ringing off so loud he can barely hear himself think. Or at least another hero of New York. Someone. Someone to save her so Peter won't go through another funeral.
