JULY 3 - Daily Crowley: ANGEL AND TARTAN
Crowley is lounging at home, in a pair of tartan pajama bottoms gifted to him by his Angel, who also just happens to be conversing with him on the phone. Tartan PJs by request.
Todays' Daily Crowley features the Ineffable Wives, in their Renaissance finery, enjoying a lovely dance in 16th century Italy. I knew this request would be a challenge, but having majored in art history in college, with a focus on the Renaissance, I was excited to try this out. I based both of our wives on portraits of Simonetta Vespucci, a very lovely young woman who inspired a number of artworks, including Botticelli's Venus (on the half shell, heh). I adapted the dresses into my own creations. I'm sure they were quite fetching to the noblemen, but they only had eyes for each other, of course.

Daily Crowley for July 5. This is another take on #AwakeTheSnake, per a request on Facebook. Aziraphale has had enough of Lockdown, and wants to see his demon, wants to go on a picnic, and wants to wear his cute new picnic hat. So he's packed a basket full of scrummy delights, and lets himself into Crowley's flat to wake him up. Crowley is awakened to the sight of his beautiful, eager Angel.

Daily Crowley is coming to you early today because it is BASTILLE DAY! After seeing the incredible work of art by @tabbystardust (seriously take a look) I had a serious case of "my pineapple is shit." But I got over it. Each of us does our special thing. Mine is quirky, colorful, funny and cute vignettes/comics and I enjoy the hell out of drawing them and brightening people's days. So I thought, what's a good twist on the Bastille scene? I figured Crowley was certainly lurking at the Bastille, waiting for his angel to be dragged in so he could gallantly rescue him. Eat some crepes today! Go look at this gorgeous work of art.
Snuggled down with his plush duckie and his plush Angel, all is safe and good, and he's dreaming of what he loves best.
