We’re all smiles here - despite (or to spite!) the weather

As the rain and freezing rain comes pouring down this morning, we decided to take a second to reflect positively!

Look around you! What are some of the things that put a smile on your face?

Our top five: Petting a puppy, getting a free coffee, having a Strongbow on a patio, a wink from a cute guy, that cute guy buying us a Strongbow on the patio...

 One of our new favorite small things that a daily smile to our face is the crossing guard outside our building. Every day she is bundled up head to toe to combat the cold and help the kiddies cross the perilous intersection of Dundas St. and Sackville Rd. safely. She does it with a smile, a laugh and most of the time a “good morning gorgeous!” in a booming voice with a slight Caribbean  accent. 

We’re not sure what happy juice she’s drinking but she makes us smile everyday, whether we’re driving in, on our bikes or walking. We give her a big wave and a hello and she gives a huge grin back … makes things a little warmer in the grey days of um... spring?
