Here's your #dailypositivitypost! Kindness, a word and action that many people tend to take for granted these days. Without it, we don't have balance. Wars start, hatred rains free, and friendships disappear. No matter how strong bonds are, if the act of kindness isn't present, the bonds deteriorate. This isn't something we need to let happen. We, as a species, are naturally drawn to war, lying, cheating and stealing but there are a great few that want to fight this chaos. We stand up for what is right, good and just. We are called, Hope. Hope is a feeling that fuels the action of kindness. Don't let it die. When you see someone struggling with something, ask if you can help them. Remember to smile in the morning and wave to say hello. Pass the torch of hope and let the feeling catch fire, burning the darkness away. One simple act of kindness can start the brushfire of hope. Reconnect with your friends, your family and your neighbors. Talk to strangers when you see they are down, ask how they are with a smile. Don't be afraid to go and just connect with someone. I'll close this up with some words from Bill and Ted that ring with truth, "Be good to one another.." And "Party on dudes!!!" Daily Positivity Post! Hello, lovelies. Today is Saturday. And I'd like to talk about self-destructive coping mechanisms. We all have ways to cope, and not all the methods are safe. There are things that we do that give us peace of mind, things that distract us from what we're feeling. Self-harming is one of these things. Today, I would like to ask you, those who are struggling, to resist the impulse of harming yourself. Today, I ask that you seek a different method. I am available for chatting at nearly every hour of the day, and I ask that you talk to me instead. I know that it is hard. The demons you feel in your brain want to leak out. But don't let them, not today. And if you're reading this, I'm proud of you. If you've avoiding self-harming for even a moment, I am proud of you. The mean voices in your mind are wrong. You are enough. You are amazing. The world does need you. And you are loved. Remember... I love you I need you And I will protect you Have a wonderful day, lovelies.
